I don't know if this video is been posted in CPEC section but it's very interesting for Chinese to know what is Gwadar. I can understand why India is so obsessed about CPEC, because India will never able to compete against China in Pakistan Soil in this global competition. It will be for sure a golden age for Pakistan and this region.

With a man power of over 200 millions and strategic location such cross road of Middle east, Central Asia, South Asia and East Asia, the future will be very bright, Pakistan should ignore India provocation and build their economy then India will be irrelevant in this region.

I think with China's logistics connecting Xinjiang region (the cities of Kashgar and Urumqi on the ancient silk road) with Gwadar in the South will be a game changer for Pakistan. It will benefit trade and economic activity in both Pakistan's Western flank as well as provide a shot in the arm for Xinjiang (as well as the surrounding Turkic-speaking uighur and other ethnic countries in that area). I see China's sphere of influence getting stronger in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and all the way West to Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan as these land-locked countries get trade access South to ASEAN countries, the next center of the world.

Congrats to China and Pakistan. Watch out for Supa Powa to come up with weekly reports of countering projects such as as in Iran or other middle eastern countries.

The reality is that you cannot counter developments like how India is proposing. India can try to destroy the place, but that would be insane. Or it can only take action to complement it. If it take actions to complement it, it only proof the validity of OBOR concept.

What industries are Pakistan are looking to build and expand to take advantage of CPEC?

Gwadar will be the new intersection of Broadway and seventh and 45th street. The new time square. It’s a matter of what should Pakistan develop first on that marquee location. In 40 years, I won’t be surprised that it would become one the biggest cities of Asia. Look up on Shenzhen.
