That I know sirjee. My intention was just to pay gratitude to these fierce soldiers for their superb service record right from the Gurkha war,Anglo-Sikh,anglo afghan war to till date. Off course every body has to put his soul beneath the feet of the omnipotent and the omniscient.No body can refuse this reality,no matter how rich or how strong they are on this world.

1.In spite of his height, the Gurkha is very strong and sturdy.Stamina is in-born. The Gurkha is exceptionally loyal,disciplined and courageous. Stealth is natural to him. One of our officers had gone to a forward post held by Gurkhas at night. This was in '71 when he was accompanying the IA Bde Commander planning an attack. He literally stepped on a Gurkha positioned there without realizing that there were troops there. The amazing part is that the Gurkha soldier neither moved nor made a noise.

2. I cannot imagine the Legionnaire will have these qualities.
