2012 Olympics will start in London next July.

More than 205 nations & 10500 athletes will Participate.
Now let's guess the Rankings:
1) China-Topper's of 2008,expected to repeat their splendid performance.
weaknesses are no home crowd.
2)US-Sole Superpower will fight back with maximum capacity.
3)Russia-Topped the medal tally's during Soviet Times.Still a formidable Challenge.
4)UK-Good training facilities.
5)Australia-Power of Water Sports like Swimming.

I think India has the ability to bag 5-6 gold medals & a number of Silver & Bronze Medals.Pakistan may bag few silver & Bronze medals.

Please give your suggestions.

That's not a valid reason, mate!
Sometimes the result depends on circumstantial performance, and Russia is well capable of showing that.

I think most of the Chinese people overestimate home support,is that due to ur success in beijing olympics?

Let me put,who topped the medal tally in Athens,Sydney, Barcelona, who emerged topper, why home support did not helped the host nation.

Beijing was no exception,it was not due to home support China emerged the winner but was actually the sheer dedication, determination and will power.

Soviet split in 91,still it kept the second spot untill 2004,were China toppled them, eventually beating the topper USA.
