Their rights were violated when Turkey chose the way of separatism over one island one people. That is the real issue.



Northern cyprus mock state does not have rights to the islands resources, legal ones, because it is not an officially recognised state, only an occupied area.

The cypriot and Greek stance has always been, one island one people, the Cypriot people.

It was a mistake to intervene with the islands politics, Greeks paid for this, but over time, it seems Turkish-cypriots paid more, because they have suffered isolation and dilution by the thousands of turkish settles who "just happened to find their way to cyprus" over the years.

What i meant was Iran is a powerful country with a vast population but considers Israel her enemy, which is inhibiting herself and her people from developing at a much more rapid pace because they are focusing on death and destruction.

And yes, i`ve met many turks who told me here that they wish Israel to be destroyed and Jews to be dead(Those are usually the AKP supporters).

Israel would apologice if we knew its really what is needed to restore relationships with Turkey to normal. But it was clear that it would change nothing. Erdogan would invent additional demands while using apology as his victory. So why give him a victory without getting anything in return? I should remind you that Turkey stopped joint excercises with Israel one year before Marmara. Virtually all military ties were cut off before Marmara. Erdogan's rejection of Palmer report only stregthened that point of view.

cypriots low quality of life ? turkish cypriots? turkey send 1billion aid every year , an average teachers salary per month is 6000tl which is about 3500 dolars per month and plus things are not as expensive their compared to europe , you dnt no how they live their life , but the other cyprus however lives even better tbh , very very good thats why they are like this and greece anyway well wait till iran destroys israel ( hopefully us dont join) then after israel wnt have time to fight with us well just threaten or send a few frigates and stop the drilling , and a few palestinan bombs will keep israel busy , btw the pkk card is getting weaker their all in prison , hahah they got too much loses in 6 months

When Erdogan allowed this boat to arrive near the blockade of Gaze, he willingly and knowingly allowed terrorists with knives and steel weapons to be used against Israeli soldiers.

What I don't understand is why Israel doesn't aggressively move to file suit against Erdogan in international court, or at least complain about his conduct in the General Assembly. Turks are mostly unaware of non-Turkish media so that might be the best way to challenge the Erdogan line - I see no reason to be polite to him rather than point out the threat he represents to the Turkish republic.
