I would say that they should be employed as govt cleaners or labourers instead, but I think Pakistan already has too many unemployed citizens already.

Please man be human. They are already being exploited as they are employed and paid much less than a Pakistani citizen.

These people deserve the right to dignity and right to a better life with equal chance.

In some ways they are more hardworking than average Pakistanis and have more Pakistani experience than an average Pakistani based simply on their extensive travels within the country searching for work and shelter.

By giving them equal rights and citizenship, nor one penny would be written off your fate nor one loaf of bread will be subtracted from your destiny.

Most of the Afghan refugees are in K-Pk and can easily assimilate into that province. Furthermore they are in Pakistan and not on the other side of the world. There is no war in Bangla and Bihari's are very close to Bengalis. I would even raise a 'Afghanka legion' from the refugees similiar to French Foreign Legion. All recruits get Pak citizenship after service includingtheir families.

Anbd I still hope towards end of his term PMIK gives all Afghans citizenship. Then sails into oblivion ...

I have nothing against afghans but I don't understand their anti-Pakistani sentiment and their worship of Kuffar, Idol-Worshipping indians. Especially after all we have done for them for over 40 years. Funny how the Afghans love the americans and the rest of Nato even when they destroy Afghanistan, mass murder afghan citizens and enslave them. Millions of mohajirs consistently have voted for designated terrorist and gangster party aka MQM and it's leader has said in India that Pakistan is a 'mistake'. Does that mean we should screw every Mohajir in Karachi?

This all goes back to 1980s Aghan jihad and our support for some groups and being rather cold to others - specifically Ahmed Shah Masood's NA. Abdulah Abdulah was a lieutenant of Shahg Masood. They hated Pakistan even in 1980s. Our support for Taliban merely reniforced thart hatred in 1990s.

Unfortunately that commando, Musharaf handed Afghanistan over to NA who then infected that hatred for Pakistan in the new Kabul dispensation. Over time they have co-opted some sell out Pakhtuns to give the veneer of NUG that has been ruling Kabul since 2001. Prior to that the only Indian is Kabul was a dead indian or hijacked Indian.

Don't forget this. And Taliban continue to be partial toward Pakistan which is why our security establishment is soft on them. In short Pakistan helped to instal Indian loving NA in Kabul in 2001 who hated Pakistan to the core. That has been resonating from Kabul since then.

Anti Pakistan/Pakistan army Afghan are in vast majority. If they were minority then it would be a different issues and we would have no problem.. These anti Pakistan sentiments shared by boht afghan politicians as well as average citizens. MQM leadership got what it deserved and they are history now. You think we should give citizenship to every afghan living in Pakistan irrespective of how he feel about Pakistan whther he respect its peopel or not ..whether he care about Pakistan i interest or not. If Afghans could drop their anti-Pakistaniness, it will be VERY easy for them to assimilate and be granted Pakistani citizenship. Contrary to popular myth, due to our large Pukthoon population, Pakistanis have more in common with Afghans than we do with ANY other community on earth. I agree we should unite but the hatred from the Afghans towards us needs to stop
