Govt to reconstruct Quaid-e-Azam Residency: Nisar - thenews.com.pk
QUETTA: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan flew to Ziarat on Sunday to review damages inflicted by the militants to Quaid-e-Azam Residency in Balochistan.
His entourage also included National Party leader Mir Hasil Bizenjo and State Minister Jam Kamal.
Nisar announced to rebuild the Residency within three to four months and said that it was a national heritage.
He expressed grief over the series of blasts that struck Quetta on Saturday following a pre-dawn attack on the Quaid-e-Azam Residency.
The minister said that government would chalk out a policy for the protection of archeological sites.
Later on, Nisar visited residence of Abdul Mansoor Kakar, Quetta Deputy Commissioner who lost his life during a gun battle in Bolcan Medical Complex, and offered condolence to his family.
