Govt to rebuild damaged Karak Hindu temple: KP CM
Web Desk On Jan 1, 2021

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan announced on Friday that the provincial government will rebuild Karak’s Hindu temple that was vandalised and burned by a mob.

In a statement, the chief minister said the government will ensure the temple is rebuilt without delay and that the authorities concerned have already been issued directives for the purpose.

“We will ensure protection of sacred places of minorities at any cost,” he reiterated, adding those involved in the tragic incident have been apprehended and strict action will be taken against them.
CM Mahmood declared that no one will be allowed to take law into their hands.

A day earlier, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Gulzar Ahmed took notice of the tragic incident and directed the KP chief secretary and the provincial police chief to submit a report in this regard by Monday.

As a Hindu, my advise to the local government is to not waste your money on rebuilding temple as some day this will again be destroyed giving more pain to the people. Better hand over the average money equivalent of there properties and tell them to Move in India. Win win for both...

Nah, this is the right thing to do. Pakistan should be for all Pakistanis, not just Muslims. I just hope that on top of this, those who desecrated this holy place are punished. Such mindless baboons must not be tolerated.

Our societies are full of egoistic and radical personality, if people are punished than a fraction will use this to radicalize other innocent people. Once they have what they want to accomplish, there further acts will definitely make them stand exposed as all know such characters are mostly paid and sponsored from abroad. In between we save allot of innocent lives

why our people did not use brains ? a wild uneducated mullah can use them like a mob of cattle anytime .

Humans, by nature are greedy. They want quick access (with very less effort) to jannah and those 72 angel's. Ab kon jar din 5 namazy pry, 30 rozy raky he Saal Zakat Dy or hajj kry

Maybe in the short run but in the long run it will be much worse. We must change, there is no option. Change will be painful but it will be for a much better future. It seems like our nation has devolved, if today they target Hindus or their temples, then tomorrow they will target another group, and so on and on we will go into a downward spiral of hate and violence. This must be stopped.

Well all the best of luck for the initiative. One more way out is to promote nationalism where I feel Pakistan can progress, where individual move along and above there religious identity to national identity. Have more faith in your own country than Saudi Arab.

Non availability of recreational activities creates tension in communities.

Adrenalin has to be pumped towards something worthwhile; which otherwise devolves to human on human violence.

"Participation in sport and recreation activities can reduce stress, anxiety and depression.3 Participation in group recreation provides a sense of value, belonging and attachment.4 According to Bandura’s social cognitive theory, behaviour is shaped by the interaction between individual and environmental factors.5This theory emphasizes the influence of social interaction in relation to behaviour. There are both direct and indirect links between participation in group activity and mental health. "

So people will pay compensation from all parts of KP for something small minority did.

Why couldn't they recover the money needed from the miscreants?
