ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Advisor, Irfan Siddiqui said on Thursday that the government was considering the matter of prisoners swap with the Taliban.
Speaking to media, he said; that "government is thinking who is to be released and who is not."
Siddiqui said there was no pause in talks with the Taliban however there was a suspension in the process.
The prime minister's advisor claimed the vehicle of talks was moving forward but some people were unable to feel its movement.
He said that neither specific area has been allocated for peace zone nor the government had any intention to do so.
Irfan Siddiqui said that Musharraf and Taliban were two different issues and the government had not decided to release the former president.
