gul supported the cowardly assasianation of Ahmed shah masood by Al Qaida .. proves that gul was a pukhtoon nationalist more than any thing .. his conversation reflected appreciation of mad strategies by pukhtoon men which proved a disaster for this community for over decades .. he sat in comfort where pukhtoons died like cattles by every one .. not a very wise man

do you have any reference that Gul supported the assasianation of Masood? Never heard that.

I'm not fan of the mad General but to my surprise I've never heard him speak disparagingly of any of the Mujahideen folk -- he's always maintained that the differences with the Afghan people could be resolved. So it would be interesting if you have references to the contrary.

All dead.

Actually, yes all of them dead -- and end of an era sort of -- unfortunately the new era may be worse

BS! ISI had been supporting Massoud aswell!

Infact Pak even tried to patch up relations between massoud and the Pashtuns or (later taliban).. According to our ambassador to Afghanistan..

As for sitting in his office... What do you expect a general to do to afghanistan and fight?lmao!

ISI & SSG officers did go to Afghanistan to act as advisors, trainers, observers and in combat roles to fight the soviets...

Thats an allegation. You should have substance to prove it. Gul was a Pakistan nationalist. He was not this nationalist or that nationalist.
