For the first time in my life, I am developing soft corner for Rahul Gandhi...Since my young days, being an ardent fan of RSS and most of its core idelogy( Do not like some of the critical idelogy too), i really feel dissapointed when i see the news of UP CM after such a massive victory in UP...Makes no mistake, that he is not an younger version of Modi. I always believe, being a strong Hindu nationalist does not mean, you have to demean other religion. And this is where i do not like UP CM and his past mindset....For me, it is not the good decision, unless he provides some excellent governance which will override his critical remarks that has been circulated earlier. And even i am surprised to see the amount of criticism that Rahul Gandhi is getting on national media where Congress is not even a big party in UP election...Rather than castigating RG, i think, these corrupt SP and BSP should be censored for the win for BJP than the inability of Congress.

For those who think Yogi is not "similar" to modi, in terms of persecution by media, I agree. Modi was persecuted much worse, Modi was much more maligned and was a target of heneous attacks for nearly 15 years.

Lastly, people's memory is short but not for people who are at receiving end.

I understand your point...But the reason BJP gets support from people because of humility and positive perception from people...Makes no mistake, in spite of Godhra issue, Modi is perceived to be a good administrator which may not be the case of current UP CM...

Yogi is one of the most active MP's we have today.
he has been a 5 time MP.
He has done well for his constituency so much so that even Muslims in his area are pro-Yogi.

Point is, you hear couple of videos, listen to couple of speeches, not seeing the context and make judgement.
we are the same people who did not whimper when bigots destroyed Azad Maidan and did numerous attacks all over India over an issue in Myanmar. That's how pathetic our secularism is. Not a whisper from anyone when this happened. When yogi exposes this, he becomes a bigot.

Let me assure you that more and more hindus are asserting themselves and do not like BS being shoved down their throats.

ideally, a person like Yogi is not desirable...I completely agree.

Let me ask you one single question....
If some one like Yogi was present in kashmir when genocide of Pandits was happening, would it have been a bad thing?

Currently, India is filled with false narrative of Hindus being the ones aggressive, whereas the reality on ground is anything but that. With SM, this is getting exposed by the day and Hindus are not liking what they seeing.

He is a younger version of Modi from UP, more suitable to UP and its demands. Modi and his style was more suitable to a more civilized Gujarat.

This is Yogi Aditynath a mere 10 years back, in Fear of his Life as a MP from UP. This was when Mulayam singh was trying to have him KILLED using State apparatus and goons.

That time Yogi Adityanath was a 33 year old sanyasi minus the aggressive outlook.

This is how the "Hindu Yuva Vahini" was born, to protect and defend Hindus from SP goonda Raj.

And the speeches you hear are the speeches required to inspire the youth to join the Yuva Vahini and be ready to kill and die for the defence of Hindus.

That is what happens when the state abdicates its responsibility of Law and order and use state apparatus for Muslim appeasement and suppress Hindus.

If Modi was in UP, he too would have turned into a Yogi Adityanath.

Its easy to sit in judgement when you are ignorant of ground realities.

Why do you think Yogi Adityanath gets support from the people of UP ? For the same reason Modi got support in Gujarat and Now in India.
