where is incredible india? not in the top 50?

nope, its development is categorised within the stage1, the only thing india is in better position than the rest stage1 countries are india's market size which ranked 4th, whereas like in terms of institutions, macroeconomics, infrastructures, health and primary education, goods market efficiency, labour quality and technological readiness are quite behind`!

what i learnt from time to time``every media is bias to some extent. so I like to dig up figures and data from reputable organizations or to witness by myself (mostly culture observing) to form my own perspective```so i become a fan of C.I.A world factbook, IMF, WB, IEF (international economy forum), PCT ect```

so far the most contradicting country i found is India. as the India image from indian media are miles away from the reality figures and those indians i met in life``

why u acting irritated? did i say or put on anything false info? isnt reality too much for you?

instead of talking about the list and matter your personal aganda makes you believe people are wanting to troll here?

Instinctively, Sweden is not number 2 and UK is top 10. The rest of the list seems spot on.

Where is the superpower and Cricket Champion India in the list? Yeah we should use a magnifier in order to find this great superpower. India is not supposed to have a greater economic growth than China in 2011/12 and to surpass China by 2016 and also to jump from the 16 Economic world power to the third! Such superpower should already be 5th or 6th and not 51 alongside tiny Malta and Panama in this list as India has supposedly the best education system and best health system caring for its entire billion population with a vibrant democracy and youth. Oh NO. Or else all these are fake, just a tactics by the West to create a fake superpower to counterbalance China.:rofl::rofl:

. .
once people are stereotyped (virtually everyone) its difficult for them to be unstereotyped, because it took them years to soack up those biased news or info they living in to form their perception.

but one thing you can do to minimise it by digging up figures yourself and reading reputable researches and findings, not some articles from thin air like China going to surpass u.s in 2016 in economy, or india is shining sort of nonsensical media sensations

5th, not bad :) Go go Germany ;)

I am surprised by Singapore. I knew they were an incredibly dynamic economy but I didn't know they were THAT competitive. Also Germany coming in before Japan is very surprising.

Now that Switzerland is number one, in a report that comes from a NGO headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland well.. I take that at least with a grain of salt. Not saying its not true.. but yeah just sayin' ;)

based on``?

GDP per capita for one. I'm not saying Sweden is worst than the UK, only that Sweden should be lower and UK higher. I'm saying the two countries are very close. The drug company AstraZeneca is a good example of parity. Corporate HQ is in the UK and R&D HQ is in Sweden.
