Germany plans massive upgrade in all branches of its military

No, I don't give a sh!t about you being Jewish or not.

I only feel that a Jewish guy should start a thread debunking holocaust denials argument one by one.

I can do it, but I am not Jewish. I do not have that kind of psychological/emotional attachment to holocaust. I won't be able to make an effective thread.

Anyways, move on
Good.

Meanwhile, you fail to grasp that it is not 'just' the holocaust (perpetrated against the jewish people) but the extermination of large numbers of non-jewish as well during WW2, including e.g many millions of Russians. Roma ('gipsies'), physically disabled and mentally ill in general, political opponents in general, communists and catholics andfree masons in particular. In short, denial of organized mass killings (incl holocaust by bullets but also by gas vans and gas chambers), industrial killing facilities (death camps with gas chambers) is actually contempt for a very great number (at least double the 6 million for jews) of civilians of occupied countries being systematically killed. It is dispicable revisionism b y any standard, irrespective of 'jewishness'.

Pardon me. Let me infer my view, Sir.

What the older generation of Germans did was wrong , true, they should never forget. However, there are new security challenges that requires the rise of a powerful and pro-active Germany. Let us remember that Germany, NEVER, had been in her history been a complacent power. Long has Germany been a pro-active power. The power that sacked and Rome should not be left "reliant" on .... lesser powers?

Let the haters hate and keep lingering on the past Nihonji, what matters is what European powers themselves think. We and France have no issues with Germany assuming more responsibilities in Europe and the world, seeing the challenges we face like Russian aggression. So the final word lies with Britain and France as the major powers in Europe, as far as i know almost no country in E.U is against Germany acting more like a normal country, since everybody know they have truly repented for the crimes they committed, we have all moved on from that. Stalin committed even worse crimes and killed far more than Hitler ever did, but we all moved on from that. So Germany will keep rearming and assuming more responsibilities that fits its current role/size. In Europe we and France have been shouldering the bulk of military issues from Libya, to middle east and in Baltic regions etc, Germany need to also contribute towards this or the benefit/interests of Europe.

So German military upgrade will and should continue. Outsiders have no say in it, we Britain have been urging our German brothers to arm and play a bigger role militarily.

I believe Germany is doing just that. I have read they have raised their defense expenditure up to 34-35 billion Euros.

Germany To Boost Defense 6.2% Over 5 Years

Yes i absolutely whole heartedly agree with you on this, Mike. It will take gradual time and require a healthy dosage of patriotism to rally the German people to accepting their responsibility as not just the economic engine of the EU, but a much needed partner in defense. I believe we are seeing the beginning of revitalized Germany.

It is time.
