There have been plenty of riots in the USA's history and while only a few have had deaths the most notorious riot was back in 1967 with 43 killed.

Police aren't machine gunning people here. Keep in mind a good portion of citizens own guns themselves (that's why the lady cop was so edgey) and unless the riot police have bulletproof facemasks they aren't going to do something stupid.

If they are rushing the police with hammers the police have a right to defend themselves. As i said before we have had riots where people were killed. Sounds like the Ukranians are doing a pretty good job so far.
