I have said may years ago in this very forum, Bangladesh armed forces officers or good portion of it became a mercenary force. Now Lt. Gen (retd) Chowdhuri Hasan Suhrawardy confirms mercenary force involvement in 70 some business ventures.
India was allowed to set up consular office so that Bangladesh army officers and their wives can visit india. Fertile ground for indian recruitment drive. No other self respecting country or force would allow such destructive plan.

Current army chief Gen. Aziz brother was and is a known terrorist Joseph. Awami League regime even commuted Joseph death sentence and freed him.

Other important information from the interview about Bangladesh defense or lack thereof.

Bangladesh does not have national defense policy and india influence prevented forming such policy.
india using political control over Awami League and institutional infiltration control high ranking appointments in Bangladesh.

When they can't raise a strong argument supported by facts, they will seek to put you in a box, label you and defame you.

So much for me being a BAL supporter.

Why don't BAL superheros first fix the roads leading to and in Chittagong, every rainy season entire streets get flooded causing much delay to the movement of goods to and fro Chittagong, not to mention the port or is this another prestige project to line their pockets and keep fools happy.

First we should look after our homeless countrymen who are having to fend for themselves during this rogue virus pandemic because BAL animals are too busy stealing and hoarding relief rice. Bangladesh is a beautiful country, full of vile politicians and leaders and everyday folk like us are to blame for electing these thieves.

I wouldn't call it begging, but I see your point.... BAL leadership is exactly what it says on the tin.

Bangladesh garments industry is now being held hostage by foreign apparel brands. Initially they canceled the orders but now they want the goods but at a discounted rate, and some garments factory owners allege that if they don't supply the orders the apparel brands are threatening to move to Vietnam and if they supply the orders they'll practically be working for free due to the unfair discounts being demanded by the brands.

So the real question we should be asking is, Is Corona virus the end of Bangladesh garments industry? And is Vietnam going to benefit in post pandemic outlook at the expense of Bangladesh and millions of poor women who work in the garments industry instead of asking questions like can we benefit from Corona by taking over a void the Chinese have left.

Meanwhile the litany of bad news continues, as Bangladeshi are getting deported forcefully from Middle Eastern countries and the Arabs are dead set on not letting as many of them come back. So as it stands remittance are at a new low and it seems that they will stay low for a long time to come. Many Bangladeshi here in the GCC are stuck with no jobs, no money and no food and neither the Arabs nor the GoB cares.

It's harrowing to watch it unfold, right in front of my eyes and yet the BAL leadership are completely unfazed and unassuming of the impending doom and why wouldn't they be their pockets have already been sufficiently lined, hell double lined by this point.

It'll take a miracle for the Bangladeshi economy to rebound and get back to normal and it's a miracle we'll need because the alternative is millions back into poverty.

With BAL thieves at the helm

One must give credit where it's due, BAL are stalwarts of consistency in a fluid Bangladeshi political arena. They're as BAL as a bal can get. Perfect name.

This is a feel good article and piece of equipment.... Only a few pieces will be manufactured and after the WALTON *** kissing blitz is over... The actual product will be nowhere to be found. Walton and BAL working hand in hand to show shonar Bangla to the dumb sheep that are unfortunately my countrymen.

Yes as long as BAL don't fudge up the already delicate situation with bad decision making but then again that's a given with them I suppose.

Do you think BAL government will impose the necessary tariffs forcing India to back off ?

I got carried away, I sometimes forget SHW and BAL are at the helm of this ship, we call Bangladesh. Maybe if we can forge evidence that Hundis are jamatis and involved in Mujib assassination, then maybe our prodan nodi will take some action.

She's aiding and abetting them. The late railway minister suranjit sengupta was a proven thief and she let him get away. Hasina = BAL and BAL = Hasina they work hand and glove in their loot pat.

Who is this peer Sahab?

The real death toll in Bangladesh is going unreported, because most deaths beyond the ones in hospitals aren't being investigated and counted. You can't compare the performance of one country to another, BAL mongrels could've done a lot better.... For instance we need 15,000 tests a day minimum but until last week we've only had 5000 tests per day and finally in the last few days it has jumped up to 8k.... A long way to go ahead if only those Chinese wet markets didn't exist.

I despise BAL more than most people I know, and I totally agree with you on BAL whoring around for a photo op and a feel good article. All I am saying is don't encourage the trolls, a section of them live in complete denial when it comes to something positive about our country. Hell if we eradicated poverty sometime in the future, even then these so called "analysts" will come up with their usual 5 taka analysis dismissing our claims.

Two reasons for this : for some it's jealousy and for some it's their superiority complex.

No single nationality in the sub continent points out and calls out their countries fault more than Bangladeshis.... Some of these outsiders will go to any length including lying shamelessly to hide their countries shortcomings.

Well if you have lived in Canada for that long and have decided to get Canadian citizen and haven't bothered to renew Bangladeshi passport because it isn't worth the effort, you'd be better off forgetting Bangladesh and living a better life over there instead of worrying about BAL in BD... Why waste the effort when you have already substituted Bangladesh and found yourself a new home ?

Do not take this the wrong way please, it's just a suggestion not a veiled insult.

Your suggestions are too sensible brother, never going to the happen in our great shonar Bangla as long as BAL is in power.

All the loud mouth BD posters here are BAL supporters or affiliates, they won't be tortured.

This is all lies, we are sitting on our asses, infact our asses are sore now after sitting idly since 2007. BAL & Hasina will ruin Bangladesh

Brother, I was always awake, If any doubt please read through my previous posts. I am no fan of BAL or Hasina or this far fetched dream of shonar Bangla 2041.

Salman fattu Rahman should step down and let independent auditors take a look at his books, will this happen? Of course not, BAL takes good care of it own.

Shameless thieving maggots, I was very disappointed when khaleda made bail and made it out of jail alive. If only hasina wasn't in West Germany that faithful day, all that long ago.

And the innocent hard working people who work for his company in the factories are also cheaters? If the westerners don't release the money they owe him for the completed order then what do you think is going to happen to the women who work at the factories and what is going to happen to the families of those workers?

Prodhan Nodi Bango'r Konna Sheikh Hasina will come to their savior? Or will some kind soul from BAL step in and help these people? They are struggling to keep their greasy thieving hands off the relief rice as it is.

Pathetic spineless government letting Foreigners strong arm the very people who keep this country moving, the garments industry.

They're linked to Bangladesh Awami League, that's all we need to know to get the essence of the issue here, end of story.

Corrupt people like this run amok in Bangladesh, because our leadership directly enables these people and their illicit activities.

But since I'm not supporting the BNP - Jamaat Axis, then surely I must be a BAL supporter.

Why ? Because in their black and white world, everyone is always taking sides, always looking to gain something, they're just sore BNP isn't here and that they can't loot right now.

According to them, there can't be any true patriots, so much for being 'worried' about Bangladesh while sitting abroad in 1st world countries and whining about BNP.

All they're worried about is when will it be their turn to loot again, people like me are a thorn in the sides of these three parties, since we are actual nationalists and can't be bought with money.

If you love Bangladesh so much, and want to change something about it, then come to Bangladesh and protest against BAL, don't sit in your American Condo and spew gibberish on here. Nothing will change.

All talk, no action, another band of thieves these BNP animals.

If you don't have the intellectual capacity to form a proper argument and a constructive reply, then please don't quote me, If you mentally handicapped, just say so, I won't bother with taking the time to make thought out posts like this on here.

You do realise that we are where we are in severe corruption and oppression because of a moronic population right? The masses deserve watever shite they are getting with all honesty. Wat u said right there makes sense to me but it all falls on deaf ears. Cuz the people of this country has become a bunch of sheep. Do u know wanna go to the farm late at night and rescue the damned sheep from a slaughter the following day? No point in doing that. Cuz they don’t want it. The people are it’s biggest enemy. There’s no future for a nation with a social base so immoral and pathetic. Imagine if this was the case in 71 we wud all be speaking Urdu now.

Bhai this is the ground reality of Bangladesh. Do you see my point of the position against democracy ?

If you want democracy in Bangladesh, the rule of such idiot ( both AL type and BNP JAMAT axis )will return . Will it bring good result for our country?

That's the reason I believe that after retirement of Hasina they will choose another way to rule Bangladesh and AL will sink into oblivion like BNP jamat.

And for my position I am being abused by both jamati and their masters ( aka psedo seculars and hindutva in the forum) .

But instead of playing complete neutral I choose to show who's side I am taking . And surely I choose the current establishment that is ruling Bangladesh since 2009 ( whom I called deep state for right reason ) .

Agree with that point butthead. Finally u impressed me. Yes I also think so. The fate of AL will be the same as other parties like BNP Nd Co after Hasinas rule. The security apparatuses Nd army will definitely take over at that point.

I agree on this point because there is no competition for AL other than the military establishment itself. And Al itself is just the Image of One person. Sheikh Hasina. AL is nothing without her. So after her rule the military apparatuses are the only forces standing.

I've been saying this forever, democracy only works, if you have an educated and self aware population who know exactly what they want and exactly which candidate will get them what they want.

Right now our people just vote for the candidate who is the best at lying and convincingly making false promises.

All votes in Bangladesh are gained under false pretences.

We do not deserve democracy, indeed Bangladesh has developed in the past decade, due to the absence of democracy. It was all a sham anyway.

Bangladeshi public deserve this kind of fake democracy.

Useless clowns cast votes just because they found a certain politician convincing and they believed him/her, simply Pathetic.
Democracy only works if you make up your own mind as to who will be the right choice for you.

Are there no men in Bangladesh, will we elect a masculine figure as prime minister for once.....

Uneducated and backward people aren't compatible with democracy, what you get is what we have right now; a democracy only on paper.

Imo democracy isn't the right choice for Bangladesh as of yet, maybe in 30 or 40 years it may be feasible.

The country is not run by amateurs, they weren't elected. They have come to power, solely through the use of violence, careful plotting and by virtue of foreign interference in our democratic process.

The country is being held hostage by thieving mongrels.

In fact, Bangladesh has never had a good government in power.

Closest we ever came to good governance was the caretaker regime for 2006 to 2008. Even then they're unjust but they did make a lot of big changes that are in place until today.

I wish to see a revival of the caretaker government system also known as thodtabodayok shorkar. Our ailing democracy needs it.

Our general public do not understand democracy, they do respect democratic order, they do not deserve a democratic system of government.

We can have democracy when our public learn to make use of their brains.

We only need to look to one nation for cues as to how we can maintain this sham of 'Democracy', while retaining absolute control over the population and continuing the emphasis on growth.

Can anyone guess what country I'm talking about? Here's a tip, since it gained Independence only one party has been in power.

the Republic of Singapore

Jokes on you buddy, Bangladesh isn't a democracy.

We don't deserve a democracy either, morons that we are.

We need to move away from this facade of a democracy that we find ourselves living in, democracy isn't for Bangladeshis.

We need a purpose designed system of governance to rule over the unruly, untamed lungis of Bangladesh.

We must proclaim Greater Bengal under the benevolent leadership of the one true dragon born, Queen of Queens, Bongo'r Konna, Black Haired khaleesi, Bangla'r Moni; Hazrat Sheikh Hasina Wazed rahimahullah.

A nation United by our love for Hilsa, the Lungi and jhall muurr(d)i.

Joy Bangla!

Since I need to provide proof that these are indeed my views, here are some prior posts of mine on this topic.

Else I'll be accused of 'changing colours' and views, just to make a strong argument.

Sure I and many in Bangladesh do. Mentality of people (educated class) - how to reach and live in the "10 sq km comfort zone" of Dhaka. For BCS cadres, govt employees, Awami League party cadres, they are doing maximum looting (see latest example of healthcare scandal); their target is to reach and live in "begum para" of north America.

Regardless, don't forget in the country like Bangladesh where there is no institution (and whatever was there completely destroyed), concentration of power is with who control the gun power.

One thing always has been very clear that my support is only for Hasina ( after her retirement the support will be for another one who will be chosen by our deep state ) and never for AL/BNP or this kind as I consider both party as the 2 side of same coin .

Just Hasina is a decent and visionary leader unlike Khaleda Zia who lack any morality and political quality. And that's the reason I suport the system that I call deep state but I can't show evidence as all evidence will not be open for public. My analysis is mainly based on 15 February 1996 election and 2014 election.

So I am sure that's without solid backup this establishment wouldn't survive.

That's the reason I suport current establishment . There is no political involvement in it. It's only for the better for my country and for it's people.

Here one person isn't important ( be it Hasina or another one I future from any political or non political background ) ,important is the country Bangladesh and it's future.

This explanation is only for those People who give tag unconciously for misunderstanding !

Thanks bhai , very well explained. It looks we are exactly on same boat with slightest difference of opinion. @Bilal9 is perhaps another one who holds the almost same point of view .

I agree on ur view about what kind of leadership is needed. Strong leader with an iron fist with no competition. Because the masses of this country have become unworthy and are now inherently weak and corrupt. They must be spoon fed. I’m not in favour of democracy anymore. It doesn’t suit this country. My anger is in the fact that , let one person rule. Rule as hard as they want, but rule , loot , punish, thrive do watever they want. But why are the lil minions looting? These lil minions are not needed by the strong leader. Hasina shud rule on her own Nd be strict on the minions that are looting. I’d have one person owning everything than a whole bunch of people doing a looting party which is not being stopped now. So In a sense , I want the ruler to have absolute power. So much power that these lil minions are no longer needed and can be held accountable
From the beginning my position was exactly the same . Just because of my limited language skill I am unable to explain my exact thoughts . But still I believe we must have a party based rule because if we choose one leader with iron fist , our western allies will take it badly . That's the reason need a farcical parliament by a massively rigged election ( actually I would love to call it selection) but all opposition parties will play politely as now BNP is playing .

So west will unable to tag us as chinese offshoot . In this method we can maintain both team . It's called trick and the trick is necessary.

And Prime Minister ( who will be selected ) will never know that the election was rigged . He/she will believe that public love him/her so they gave massive vote .
I believe we are watching such show in Bangladesh now . Hasina is unaware about the mass rigged election and she mistakenly believes that everyone loves her. It gave her satisfaction and she I eager to give something back to people. This is called ," সাপ ও মরল, লাঠিও ভাঙল না).

The whole procedure is a paradox IMO ( in theory for sure ) , but whatever it is ,if it can bring good results and prosperity to my nation , I am fine with this settlement.

So after Hasina it's not necessary that next prime minister will be from AL/BNP . Even the next one can be a non political person , although I dont know how they will select any non political person through election .

We have to wait for the future.

And if you observe carefully you will see that AL leaders are neutralized now since coronavirus time . We have a totally corrupt society and it take times to cure such diseases. If they are in hurry they will make mistake like Bangabandhu made in 1975 ( BAKSAL ; he established it so fast) and later it cost his life with his family. You see all minions were the part of moshtak govt .
I believe Hasina doesn't want to repeat the same mistake as Banganadhu made . So she is slow to take action ,but you see she is taking action step by step slowly .

PS : @Xerxes22 , if I get the notification correctly you quoted me and wrote your reply with manner . That's why I replied qouting you back . But now do not see the message.

However I am using mobile so maybe I could miss something.

Feel free to write back , we can keep talking , if we both can control our emotion .

I do not really like to push unwanted misunderstanding .If there is a possibility to solve it in proper way .

Any fruitfuil discussion without clouded judgement and without name calling is always most welcome .Thank you for understanding my position .

Brutal....I dunno what to say... this makes it more complicit of my suspicion that Aziz maybe a RAW plant....
Until I watched his interview last night I too wasn’t convinced

@Bilal9 bhai , let's read opinion from both side ,not only from one side . Although news links are not official statement of cantonment.

https://www.banglainsider.com/bangladesh/59203/হাসান-সারওয়ার্দী-নিষিদ্ধের-নেপথ্যের-ঘটনা

There are many things can happen inside cantonment, we don't know actually what is the reality.

And politics is not only limited to BNP AL politics. There could be more dirty play that we don't realize from outside.

The opposite could be true too . As we used to think that Jamat is Pakistan lover and can't be a pawn of India . But now we know that it's possible that jamat was playing as pawn of R&AW during 2013 - 2015 and onwards .

It's very easy to tag Jamati terrorists as pious Muslim and hard to tag them as R&AW agent .
But in reality ,they can use Islamic attire to decieve common people and can serve the purpose of enemy .

We called it as "Ghorer shotru bibhishon " aka uncle tom . Specially when BGB is becoming vocal against BSF , so it's not impossible that R&AW will try to create anarchy inside us .

If he was really part of any coup attempt then what's surprising if he later tries to create anarchy inside cantonment in order to distabilize current peace in Bangladesh . Simply when we see that many neo traitors are becoming active even in this forum ?

Look at Idune, I can't remember if I saw him before that day , but he is elite member .

So surely he was ianctive long day .He suddenly started posting and start tagging everyone who is slightly opposing his opinion as BAL mouth piece .You are also his target.

And a new one came and started to be vocal against Military by considering himself as new era Messiah ! He claim himself as blood related relative of Bangabandhu ( Great mujib accoridng to him ; I know many such people who was a fan of great Zia too during BNP regime. Many people wear sunglass of Zia and later use Mujib coat and become worshipper or Mujib in AL regime , such people aren't uncommon in Bangladesh who use sun shields alternatively , so I am not bothered really)

Dal mei kooch kala jorur ho sakta hay .

This is an international forum ,and my personal opinion is we should be very careful ( It's
generalized remark and that's for every responsibile citizen ,not for any individual) when we are making statement.

Otherwise it will be used against our country.

Finally I am a big supporter of the current establishment , because they are doing very good for Bangladesh, you also agree on this development I know.( so any of my comments can be safely ignored since I am the supporter of this establishment ,aka deep state and it's back up for Hasina) .

Although not to mention that I damn care BAL , as BAL is nothing but the pawn of this current establishment , only to make it halal and democratic in the point of view of western allies.

@Michael Corleone
I won’t go into politics side of your comment but I’m surprised if he really was involved, how come they didn’t dishonorably discharge him or put him through court martial, it seems to me he has some truth to what he says

yeah I deleted the comment cuz I felt like my responses were over the top today. I have witnessed how bad things were wen different parties were fighting for power not many years back. Hortal, bhangchur etc. It’s better for Bangladesh that this system is at place. The people themselves have become the biggest problem. I was heart broken at how bad society became seeing how ppl were not helping their neighbours even if they were lying dead in the streets cuz of covid. Sons not coming to bury their parents, at the start ppl infected with viruses were not being allowed to bury cuz of ppl overreacting over sum over the top virus fears. The lack of humanity in these actions also hurt me a lot. I had personally suffered for many years and lost many years of my youth because of the trouble created by these different parties fighting for politics, had to forcefully leave my own country at an age no one shud have had to do so. Emotions from these events never went away. Wen I was back, I saw how things changed nd I was happy. Trust me I was happy. But I suppose those minions still piss me off regardless of which party they support. I wish our ppl had been the same as they were in the 70s. What a great community it must have been. Any community willing to fight for freedom has to be a special one. And look how we lost it. It really pains me. Who is to blame really ? What is the true picture? At the end of the day it was the police, the police that is hated by everyone in this country that stepped up and did its duty for the community to give a helping hand to the poor and the needy at this time of trouble. So many of the policemen got infected in the process but they still did their job and at the start of the spread of virus they were the first in the frontlines. Nd this is the same police that is hated and criticised in this country. Are the people any better? Is our youth any better? The youth that is riddled with drug abuse and extreme mannerisms. We don’t have wat we had in the 70s anymore nd that’s the hard truth. The blame lies with us , the people more than anyone else. It is wat it is. And sorry for my first aggressive response to u, you didn’t deserve that. That was over the top. Best wishes to u. I have no ill feelings for anyone in my heart. I hope one day that those who have principles and virtue become powerful and dispel the Darkness cast by the corrupt and unworthy.

I am really sorry to hear about the sufferings of your youth . I admit it's not easy to recover any lose of our yong age , as the time is the best time in our life .

But I wish Allah will give you reward for this . As if we lose something in this world , we will be given better reward in afterlife , as a Muslim we are bound to believe it . Allah subahana ta'ala knows the best . May Allah give you a better reward .

And sorry for my first aggressive response to u, you didn’t deserve that.
It's alright brother . I am happy that finally we have found a good solution to end the misunderstanding.

I hope both of us can participate in many constructive discussion in future inshallah . There will be slight differences between every individual, but we know it's natural and despite having it ,all of us can be part of a better society .

And for the rest of your message, I would say that I completely agree with you.

Thanks and peace .
