Even if politics wasn’t at play, you would have to leave Bangladesh back in those days, there simply wasn’t much opportunities in Bangladesh, perks of being a poor young nationyeah I deleted the comment cuz I felt like my responses were over the top today. I have witnessed how bad things were wen different parties were fighting for power not many years back. Hortal, bhangchur etc. It’s better for Bangladesh that this system is at place. The people themselves have become the biggest problem. I was heart broken at how bad society became seeing how ppl were not helping their neighbours even if they were lying dead in the streets cuz of covid. Sons not coming to bury their parents, at the start ppl infected with viruses were not being allowed to bury cuz of ppl overreacting over sum over the top virus fears. The lack of humanity in these actions also hurt me a lot. I had personally suffered for many years and lost many years of my youth because of the trouble created by these different parties fighting for politics, had to forcefully leave my own country at an age no one shud have had to do so. Emotions from these events never went away. Wen I was back, I saw how things changed nd I was happy. Trust me I was happy. But I suppose those minions still piss me off regardless of which party they support. I wish our ppl had been the same as they were in the 70s. What a great community it must have been. Any community willing to fight for freedom has to be a special one. And look how we lost it. It really pains me. Who is to blame really ? What is the true picture? At the end of the day it was the police, the police that is hated by everyone in this country that stepped up and did its duty for the community to give a helping hand to the poor and the needy at this time of trouble. So many of the policemen got infected in the process but they still did their job and at the start of the spread of virus they were the first in the frontlines. Nd this is the same police that is hated and criticised in this country. Are the people any better? Is our youth any better? The youth that is riddled with drug abuse and extreme mannerisms. We don’t have wat we had in the 70s anymore nd that’s the hard truth. The blame lies with us , the people more than anyone else. It is wat it is. And sorry for my first aggressive response to u, you didn’t deserve that. That was over the top. Best wishes to u. I have no ill feelings for anyone in my heart. I hope one day that those who have principles and virtue become powerful and dispel the Darkness cast by the corrupt and unworthy.
