Personally I believe the school should be retired in honor of the killed kids. For the surviving kids it will be real creepy going back.

Pak Army chief, students sing national anthem as Peshawar school hit by Taliban reopens

Peshawar: Limping towards normalcy, the army-run Peshawar school which was ravaged by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan nearly three weeks ago resumed its classes on Monday.

Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif received the students and met the parents at the school. He also attended a commemorative service held at the school and sung the national anthem in honour of those who lost their lives during the terror attack. The attack on December 16 had claimed 148 lives, including 132 school children.

Meanwhile, the structure of the school has been renovated while the cleansing work has also been completed. Vacations in all educational institutions across the country were extended due to security reasons. After enhancement of security measures these educational institutions resumed classes on Monday.

The provincial government had to face criticism by educationists over its failure to announce a final date for the reopening of local schools, saying the extension in winter vacation had been adversely affecting the studies of school children.

The schools were given no objection certificates after fulfilling the basic security criteria such as installation of CCTV cameras and construction of higher boundary walls across the campus.

My Question is where are

or is it responsibility of the army to do every God-damn thing for the pathetic democracy ?

It is the lawful, constitutional right of the politicians to make sure they get chance to sit in the parliament again and again under democracy and get all the compensation, whereas all the duties a civilian government should perform for the common man has to be fulfilled by the army.

Furthermore the civilian government should not be asked for it and questioned relating to it.

For your information the PM has visited the site before and has seen the children in hospitals and their parents. Surely if it was not for him we wouldn't be, united, having a National Action Plan and hanging Terrorists. I'm sure at the moment he has other responsibilities as well such as meeting with John Kerry and drawing regional, political and economic stability.

Nevertheless the School is run by Army and the Province is governed by PTI. Perhaps we shouldn't be asking a bit too much

Omg, I don't if I would be sending my kids back to the same school. I'm not that brave. Hats off to the bravery of these parents.

On a side note, where's the political apparatus? Esp, PTI.
