Cant quote source, the option still under discussion, final decision hasnt been taken. The post hasn't been formally discussed with Gen himself either. As he is not in Pakistan currently.

Not a good choice.
These ex generals having national secrets and working on foreign assignments after their retirement are security risk for Pakistan. GoP needs to provide them with a platform/think tank where they can provide their experties to help and advise govt on security related issues rather than becoming a security risk for this country.
