Gen Raheel 'seriously concerned' over violation of sovereignty by US

. .
Look who woke up after 3 days. These people are an embarrassment and such a toothless statement is very disappointing. At least CH. Nisar made some headline. This wont even go into international media. I dont know why we even bother to have an army when they are only there to show concerns.
I dont think this "serious concern" is legitimate or true.
army is in it together with the USA

yes Drones do violate our sovereignty
but so do those terrorists who attack our schools, parks and Mosques. this is just a general statement and nothing to do with assassination of Afghan taliban leadership.

all I can say is he had it coming for him he claimed the responsibility for bombing in Kabul, yes he was in the process of negotiations and making regular visits to UAE in the designated office there where he was meeting the Americans.. (no surprise or comment from others who are blaming Pakistan for facilitating his travelling).

his death will have some uncontrollable and unpredictable consequences for Afghanistan. warlords of Northern Alliance will benefit, ISIS will benefit and Afghan Taliban might fragment even more and they might either join ISIS or Al Qaeda
there is no chance of reprieve from the terrorist attacks on Kabul .. which ever leader comes up or whoever counters him will conduct outrageous terrorist attacks on Afghan civilians to establish himself as rightful head of this death and carnage.

.
what kind of response would you have wanted from your army ?
no response

I recall the comment of retired Gen Tariq Khan. who said that although Pak army will not like someone else doing their job but given the nature of the war and resources and technology required... American drones are necessary in this kind of war.

what remains a mystery is why or how

Passport survives while the corpses are burnt to crisp without recognition?
target is allowed to visit Iran what was he doing there?
how the people get there in time to make footage of the "attack" when that place is 400 miles away from major settlement in the remotest areas of Pakistan. car still burning? (this car footage seems to me like the black bearded Osama speech footage Fox News aired which was ridiculed by everyone).

that aside

it seems like there is reasonable assumption that the intended target is taken out. his passport is faked but apparently the Saudi and iranian visa stamps are genuine. (that doesnt mean much because he was participating in negotiations with Americans in UAE and elsewhere and for the sake of talks he kept Mullah Omar's death a secret .. until Northern alliance thought .. that it will be good idea to spill the beans and disrupt any chance of peace)

.
What about our foreign minsiter and prime minister issuing some statements.
I guess his concern has more to do with aid and F-16 since it comes immediately after the US senate blocked the aid and less with the violation of Pak airspace

These terrorists did attacks on many places (in different parts of the world). How many times US did strikes ???

Although I don't care about other countries that much but for record
Yemen and Somalia are other countries apart from Pakistan and Afghanistan
in Syria they used FSA which morphed into a new monster.

you people make it sound like America has all the money and spare drones and hellfires to just blow things up. this is expensive stuff and they chose their targets carefully. if some hired gun can do the similar job then they don't bother with Drones .. so you and I never come to know about them.

.
I am also concerned like Chief sahab but I also believe the drone strikes should continue until Afghan Taliban return to the negotiation table like we told them to.

Lol@ the chest beaters, Mullah Mansur is no friend of Pakistan. All snakes tend to bite the hand that feeds them, it's good to rid of the snake before it turns on you. (Although he had already showed signs of turning.)

What foreign minister? What about it??
The current government doesn't even have a foreign minister for your information.

That is how strong we are at diplomacy!!We talk about army and blame them, have a look at how GREAT the government have been when it comes for foreign affairs.

Pathetic!

Sir, that's exactly what I've been telling people since this drone strike, but everyone of these fellas is intent on showing false bravado and crying about sovereignty, but can't answer the simple fact that having these terrorists in our country is also violating our sovereignty and when they cause problems in our neighborhood we get labelled as centre of terrorists etc, Pakistan can't fight them alone, I have no problems if we ask our allies to help us out.

But eh, blind anti americanism is the norm in this part of the world.

My point is that if they wanted to kill him then they should have done it in afghanistan. Why the hell our army is hell bent on assasinating every big shot terrorist in our own land. They made a laughing stock of pakistanis in entire world. Every single news channels was saying another terorist killed in our backyard. Our army could have had him killed any time in afghanistan if they wanted to do so.

We don't have one :p:
lol WE DO HAVE ONE AND HIS NAME IS NAWAZ SHARIF

currently he is holding that seat with 2 advisers "the very old ladies (massi phapaykutni) type "

And for the statement from chief ! , I am sad and angry too on current events , but I guess we still don't have any other options . My dear fellow members , First we have to uplift our economy , close the gap in education and tech advancement , have to build infrastructures such as DAMS , Hospitals , Roads , Universities , etc
We have to find out new exporting markets like Africa , Europe , America even Asia lots of them "for less impact of sanctions and better economy"
Most important we have to trainee our youth send them abroad , let them earn money and experience ,
While doing all that we have to upgrade our Armed Forces (Army , Air force , Navy) we have to increase there numbers and we also have to modernise them .
For all that we need better system and best persons running and managing that . And we all have to participate in that form all means "what ever we can do".
Like we all have to pay our all types of TAX , we need to make sure no one close to us is corrupt , all around us including our own self doing the duties properly and honestly , etc.
Until that time comes we have to play low , have to control our emotions , we have to be more practical and business oriented.
The Time Will Come . It Will If we all Just play our part .
Thank you.

Note: Please send all Afghan Refuges back home all of them , let them rebuild there country and it will also take lot of burden away from our economy. Fence the border with Afghanistan , no matter how much it cost and how long it take , and also do FATA reforms much needed now , make FATA one more Province bring them in main stream (we are rebuilding almost all FATA after war on terror this is golden chance and best time for that).

Since the General is ' seriously' concerned, is he ' seriously ' thinking about doing something 'serious' this time, or will the usual lip service do ?

About Gen. Raheel...... he is man of steel and have respect in the country more than anybody he do what he says........
