The same source you posted. Milley says it is a spy balloon. It has spy equipment onboard. It flied off course. So most likely it wanted to spy Russia or Kasachstan or Pakistan? people don’t know but instead it spied the US unintentionally.

Fact 1. That is a Chinese spy balloon with sensors and transmitters. The US may not be the target by Ccp spy stunt. Very likely Ccp wants to spy other countries we don’t know their names. China has lots of enemies.
