Unfortunately Palestine is already lost until the end of times war. Israel is a nuclear state which will nuke anyone that threatens their existence. Regarding disarming PIJ and Hamas, Egypt needs to first negotiate with them for a solution, if they disagree then fair enough Egypt cannot do much when the locals are not accepting Egyptian rule.

What if Israelis themselves threaten it's existence? We've witnessed numerous Israelis calling out the state crimes. It is entirely possible that Israelis themselves will revolt against the state, thus avoiding any nuclear dilemma.

Gaza wasn't never "officially" our land. Gaza became under our authority after the 48 war until 67 war. Our present border was always our border since ancient times and maybe we can add Sudan .And honestly, for me, I don't want Gaza, we have a lot of problem to be dealt. And you will see even if we took control, we will be attack by some extremist in Gaza and the IDF will keep bombing.

Gaza was under the control of ancient Egypt for 350 years. And before Egypt takes over Gaza they can make a deal with PIJ and Hamas. Israel will not bomb gaza if Egyptian army is there and in return Hamas and PIJ will not fire rockets in to Israel. The benefit is Israel will not kill any Palestinians or capture any more territory.

According to religious views, Israel will stay till the end of times, they will expand its territory and become the ruling power of the world so the messiah can come to rule. According to the Israel rabbis, the messiah is not coming because Israel needs to expand more, destroy its enemies more so it looks like they will overtake gaza and West Bank and kick the Palestinians to Egyptian Sinai and to Jordan, before we know it they will be threatening Jordan and Egypt to expand their territory even more. We can say it will not happen because Egypt is strong but look what they done to Libya Syria and Iraq.

Honestly, In Egypt, we don't love Hamas that much. They caused loads of problems in Egypt specially during 2011 revolution. And also Yahya Sinwar's nephew was killed during a confrontation between ISIS (he joined ISIS) and the egyptian army in Sinai.

I myself don't like Muslim Brotherhood, they wanted Egyptian army to fight Assad in Syria, they are certainly confused individuals but Gaza has 2 million Palestinians so we should be thinking about them, especially the young children being slaughtered. Dont forget billions of funding was given to MB and salafis by Egyptian allies from gulf nations.

It's pretty clear that they are afraid to walk in the open, under the impression that sitting inside an armored vehicle would render some protection atleast. And that fear is somewhat logical; knowing how they've oppressed the Palestinians their whole lives with the worst types of crimes, walking into a Palestinian concrete jungle, unaware from which crevice a resistance fighter may appear, the danger is colossal.

I know little about warfare, so I am curious why IDF is not using Helicopter gunships if 'they are afraid to walk in the open'? It can be used as a tank or APC in the air safe from most handheld weapons.
