This is probably a movie.
Doesnt look like the killer, and he was killed by surprise.
Edit
Yes, this is a movie..
Its called "Nine Hours to Rama"
There is no picture of him and the assailant. And I doubt his followers will just look on as he is being pointed at with a gun.
well I found it in archive of a journalist, and the movie you are referring to seems have different audiance behind, and so the actors as I see !!
it is in marathi..
last moment of father of nation...memory kept alive by a tailor over 37 years

It says
"The Last moments of the nation's father.
A memory kept hidden/closely guarded for 37 years by a tailor.
This is a rare photograph taken 37 years ago of Nathuram Godse shooting and killing the Nation's father Mahatma Gandhi. At that moment an English journalist had managed to capture this shot. Jabbar Khan, owner of Noble Tailors based in Dadiseth Road in Girgaon Chowpatty had framed and placed this picture on a shelf in his shop and has managed to keep this historic moment safe and alive for over 37 years. Our representative Mr.Ghanshyam Bhadekar managed to track down this picture. 70 year old Jabbar Khan is an old fashioned veteran tailor. Ex-Rajyapal Prakash, Sadik Ali, Abdul Latif, Kodamadhav Reddy and Bhaji Chief Minister (???) Atulay Pochi ....."
The last line is old fashioned marathi. Can't make it out.
its not bhaji it is maji which means ex...ex-chief minister of maharashtra abdul rehman antulay.
Lol....It looks a lot like Bha!! And this is the first time I'm coming across a reference to Maharashtra as "Majhi".
I know that dude. I speak both languages. In Marathi Majhi means mine, I wasnot aware of Maji. The only thing that came to mind was Bhaji .maji does not mean maharashtra..maji is marathi word which means ex(former).
while bhaji in marathi means sabji in hindi

Dude, it's from the movie. If you look at both pictures, it's quite obvious.
