Season 6 posters show a bloodied Jon Snow - The new teaser on the other hand teases Jon Snow like anything. With voice overs suggesting, that what's done is done, and we know nothing. Symbolism of course.. Do you guys think that Jon Snow is dead? If not, I'd appreciate theories. Watch the teaser below.

Assuming that Brandon is now a Greenseer, what if everything that we saw regarding Jon, was a glimpse of future that Bran had? Something that is about to happen, or will happen, and hasn't happened yet. More than that, what if the entire season 5 was a glimpse of the future, of perhaps a part of it. It'll be epic if that happens ha.

And maybe season 6 is preemptive, just so season 5, or part of it could be avoided!

After watching the teaser , first thing that came into my mind was this that may be Dying Jon Snow is what Brendon saw

The first time I saw the teaser, I was too disappointed to actually think, but I saw it the second time, and I came up with that theory. It's just the way Brandon says that last line. And we see Jon alive in the beginning, and the old man talks about how past is written and all. Followed by flashbacks. True we do see the stabbing of Jon Snow too, but it's just something about the way Bran says it. Of course, there's the other thing that if this theory is to hold any weight, Bran has to be a Greenseer, while nothing in the teaser suggests that, the fact that he was not seen in the fifth season means that he was probably undergoing training....

I don't know.. I just think this theory may hold to some extent.

They give him a life coz killing him was not a good idea as his role and character was so impressive and strong with huge of fans club etc.

Technically, he is dead. But he will be resurrected. This will also free him from the bonds of the Brotherhood.

Well honestly, if Jon dies, then there's no on really left from the Stark family and that's just sad.
