URUMQI, June 2 (Xinhua) -- China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has realized the full coverage of free pre-school education in rural areas with the continuous increase of educational investment, according to a press conference held on Monday.

Xinjiang has invested heavily in the construction, renovation and expansion of 4,408 kindergartens in rural areas, according to the press conference.

At present, all the pre-school children aged 4 to 6 in the autonomous region are receiving pre-school education in kindergartens, and can enjoy free lunches, snacks and fruits.

In 2019, Xinjiang spent 86.31 billion yuan (about 12.15 billion U.S. dollars) on education in the general public budget, a year-on-year increase of about 4.77 billion yuan or 5.85 percent, said local authorities.

Since 2017, the autonomous region has invested more than 29 billion yuan in student financial aid. ■

Can those who accused China of persecuting Uighurs provide 15 years free education for every single kid, not even one kid being left behind? Can they provide free food, accomodation, free healthcare ? Can they provide free government housing for the poor? Free healthcare and free annual health checkup?

Xinjiang doesn't have children roaming around the streets looking through the gargabe for food, Xinjiang doesn't have people who don't even have access to clean water , Xinjiang doesn't have children working their hands to the bones to feed their own stomach. No kids in Xinjiang had their innocent childhood being deprived of. That how China persecutes them with so much care, funds and love.

Sure they can. Education means less religious zealots, which for the haters means no religious freedom.

China Shines in Education as Richest Economies Fail to Improve
China’s Schoolchildren Are Now the Smartest in the World

Chinese students far out-stripped peers in every other country in a survey of reading, math and science ability, underscoring a reserve of future economic strength and the struggle of advanced economies to keep up.

The OECD’s triennial study of 15 year-old students across the world found that the four Chinese provinces tested -- Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang -- outperformed in science and mathematics, even if household income is well below members’ average. In reading, the 10% most disadvantaged Chinese students tested had better skills than the OECD average.

“The quality of their schools today will feed into the strength of their economies tomorrow,” OECD Secretary General Angel Gurria said.

Xinjiang provides free milk every day and local community workers deliver them to every household

Xinjiang provides a free box of milk every day for the families with children under 6 years old and local community workers deliver them to every household, As one of the suppliers, Xinjiang Terun Dairy Company set up a special production line , using the most advanced technology and the highest standards.

The high-quality raw milk is from a designated cow pasture, and sampling inspection at the production line is conducted every 15 minutes -- much more frequently than in usual production lines, according to Checheg, head of the quality and technology department.

"Technicians inspect the milk from multiple dimensions, such as the total number of colonies, protein index and taste. And all the indexes are absolutely superior to the market standard," Checheg said.

The milk's fat content is 3.6 percent and the protein content 3 percent, which is equivalent to the nutritional value of high-priced milk in the market.

The Chinese goverment doesn't seem to trust the parents to provide enough nurishments for their children, so the government provides free nutrients rich school meals, free milk, egges , fruits and other snacks to Xinjiang kids.

The Chinese government also provides 15 years free education for Xinjiang kids from kindergarten to high school with free accomodation and healthcare.

I scratch my head and try to find what the parents need to provide for their kids after they give birth to them in Xinjiang... couldn't find any, oh, maybe the parents have to pay for the clothes, which I m not sure about.
