Communism has failed. capitalism has now filled. There is one other way of life that is here that is Islam and that is why they are scared of muslims

that is why they are scared of muslims

Not really. Any fear that exists is of being blown up or beheaded on the internet, not over the "imminent collapse of our social system and governance."

Note the comments AGAINST the hypersexualization of children in the original article come from Concerned Women for America. The majority of people find this disgusting. But there is this thing called freedom, and they (the company) are allowed to market these clothes. Just as we are free to boycott them and comment against them.

Paul Miller, a psychology professor at Arizona State University, told ABC News: “This kind of marketing does sexualize young girls, it does serve as a model that inspires very young girls to think that minimizing what they wear and revealing as much of their body as possible is appropriate, and ‘fashionable’ and ‘cool,’ and that this is the way that they should think of themselves.” Miller explained that the “cultural message goes beyond ‘lingerie’ … to girls’ self-image, body image, and what it takes to build a ‘good’ image of one’s self.”

According to ABC News, the American Psychological Association (APA) has formed a task force to address the “increasing problem” of the sexualization of young girls in advertising and the media. “We don’t want kids to grow up too fast,” Shari Miles-Cohen of the APA told ABC News. “We want them to be able to develop physically, emotionally, psychologically, and socially at appropriate rates for their age.”

Meanwhile, Penny Nance of Concerned Women for America pointed out to the Daily Caller: “This is a pedophile’s dream. Sophie Morin, the lingerie designer at Jours Après Lunes, should be ashamed and French mothers should be outraged and demand a response.” Nance added that such disturbing stories “are becoming more common as our society further sexualizes little girls. From Hollywood to Abercrombie & Fitch’s push-up bra bikinis for eight-year-olds, the United States has its own issues. Concerned Women for America’s members will not accept the cheapening of our children and will fight pedophilia anywhere we find it.”

Naaa its american way of life that they want to protect and introduce to the rest of the world

Oh for... it's a FRENCH company.

"I'll stir up my Muslim Brothers with this article and imply that with secularism comes this - they will FORCE our little girls to wear sexy underwear! We don't want this! Islam to the rescue!"

Your agenda is plain to see. Find examples of the worst a culture has to offer, and imply that it is the norm for that culture. Thus, it must be rejected.

What it is ultimately about, is CHOICE and FREEDOM. They can choose to market the garbage, we are free to castigate and boycott.

Why are you living in Great Britain, a nest of Western decadence?

Islam is the only way of life? Why would the French be scared of you? France is more successful that many of the many Islamic countries. Nudity is pretty normal in France, on posters, adverts, magazines it's fairly ordinary.

is that something to be proud of ?:what:

Well in France they don't see nudity as sick, evil etc. You live in India where I gather things are rather different. Different cultures nothing more. I wouldn't say they are proud of it, they just don't think anything of it.

"The price of my freedom is to fight for yours to do things that I dont like ... "

well that is ok then . The way you put it , it seemed like it was something to be proud of . here in India most of us don't consider sex and nudity as evil , but yeah something personal and private that is not meant to be publicized . Anyways to each their own.

Oh I agree with you, whenever I go to France, I'm always a bit shocked when I see a naked woman on a billboard. Children can see it.

LOL. I so can relate to this. Was with my parents in France a few years back, and whenever some naked girl on the bill-board appears, I had to pretend i noticed a crack on the floor or look in some other direction. It was really awkward with parents right beside me.. Life was tough :P

On topic, I don't really agree with making lingeries for kids, but I guess this is what freedom is about. They can sell it and we have the freedom to decide for ourselves what is good and bad :)
