Gotta love how they react once Turkey made the missile purchase from Russia. 2 years ago they were pulling out their systems left and right out of the country.

What "react" ? This deployment like the others are just part of NATO's obligations after Turkey asked assistance from other NATO members. Nothing to do about S400. It could end this support, but it doesn't.

This deployment is either to replace the Spanish Patriots (there since 2015) or the Italian SAMP/T ones,or even supplement them, the conditions of this deployment are currently unknown.

NATO's obligations were quickly forgotten when Turkey downed the Russian plane, Germans and the Americans pulled out their systems shortly after when Turkey probably needed it the most.Spain remained. Now that Turkey acquired the Russian systems, our European partners have remembered their NATO "obligations" all of a sudden :)

Now lets not throw all European NATO partners in the same bucket. Italy and I think Spain? have been there for years now.

Too late, too little.

It has nothing to do with that.

"Eurosam, 2018-01-05: Turkey has awarded Eurosam, Aselsan and Roketsan a contract for the definition study of the future Turkish Long Range Air and Missile Defence System. The contract award was made during the meeting of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President Emmanuel Macron today in Paris... 'This study paves the way for the launch of a three-country joint Long Range Air and Missile Defence Program.' The future system will be ready by the middle of the next decade with a state-of-the-art military capability designed to counter the most challenging threats (stealth aircraft, UAVs, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles). The system is expected to meet three countries’ basic operational needs and it will guarantee Turkey has full employment autonomy and will allow a sovereign choice of integration level within NATO. The joint development activity is expected to support Turkey’s indigeneous air and missile development programme in addition to opening up prospects for exports and longer-term co-operation of Turkey, Italy and France."

Actually you are twisting facts

here is why Germany withdrew its Patriots, which weren't meant to be there permanently

"Germany provided two of the five NATO batteries and around 250 personnel for the three-year mission, which was scheduled to end in January 2016 according to the German government's mandate."

Despite Germany withdrawal, NATO continued to keep Patriots within the country at request of Turkey, and also

"He said that NATO allies are aiming to send aircraft and command ships to Turkey in an attempt to boost the country's defense capabilities. The U.K. will provide aircraft to Turkey's İncirlik Air Base in Adana while Germany and Denmark will supply command ships to NATO forces in the Mediterranean. Spain is also providing Patriot missile batteries in southern Turkey. While NATO has increased air defenses for Turkey for many years, Turkey's downing of the Russian warplane that violated its airspace on Nov. 24 has revved up NATO support."

Don't pretend to be a poor victim here, multiple countries have sent thousands of personnel at your request, be grateful for that.

The US and Germans planned to withdraw their Patriots well before Turkey downed the Russian jet.

May I ask you a question,do you really think NATO was useless during this event ?

Turkey's NATO membership was a lone a deterrent towards Russia and the only thing that kept them from launching retaliations against Turkey.

This is NATO's mission. NATO has to do that(NATO Article 5). There's nothing to be grateful for. I think you can read this Turkish source.. https://www.globalgundem.com/turkiyenin-natoya-katkilari-neler/

ARTICLE 5: The Parties agree that an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all; and consequently they agree that, if such an armed attack occurs, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defense recognized by Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, will assist the Party or Parties so attacked by taking forthwith, individually and in concert with the other Parties, such action as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area. Any such armed attack and all measures taken as a result thereof shall immediately be reported to the Security Council. Such measures shall be terminated when the Security Council has taken the measures necessary to restore and maintain international peace and security.

Oh no, NATO wasn't just useless but they almost took a hostile attitude after that plane accident towards Turkey.

Here, a great flood about it:

Fck Nato and all it stands for even if Turkey was at war they wont give a shit. Afterall they are supporting pkk and ypg terrorists also when Turkey shot down the Russian plane what did Nato do???

**** all I tell you, If Russia attacked only thing Nato will do is we cant save you Turkey you are on your own.

I hope one day Turkey gets nuclear weapons and leaves this relic of the cold war behind.

If Turkey has Nukes it would make Russia think twice before attacking Turkey.

Lets compare what NATO has done for Turkey vs what Turkey has done for itself

NATO deployed a significant force with some of the latest SAMs, Germany for example deployed nearly half of its Patriots, potentially leaving itself exposed.

Now lets see what Turkey has done, oh yes, Turkey handed a 2.5 billion contract to a country they almost went to war with, a country that has bombed the shit out of your allies in Syria, a country that put trade restrictions on you.

and you are here, blaming NATO for everything, and insulting anyone that doesn't agree with you.
