It seems our new president wants to improve the relations with Indian subcontinent. Right now especially India since he understood that we focused too much on a few countries and sometimes forget the other opportunities. But for a few years now France especially involves partnership with India especially.

Quite a bold statement to make. France stole thousands of African artifacts, pushed down their language and culture onto the people while suppressing their rights. How many times has France intervened militarily in Africa after giving its colonies indepedence? The answer is 30. Therefore, in 50 years France has interfered 30 times..great record..I'm sure the Africans appreciate this kind gesture.

You might argue the French did it to secure peace, but we all know such bullshit doesn't work in the real world. Half of France uraniue come from Niger, you recieve oil from Gabon and support dictators while championing the idea of democracy. The French were always appreciated in the Indian subcontinent or at least by the various Muslim kings. Things would have been different if Napoloen would have been able to link up with his allies in India. The exact opposite is true for the British.
