All that Kanji is like the abc's found in the various European languages.
This is because you are using white people's or outsider perspective on the Kanji. Does abc have meaning on its own? Kanji is a romaji writing, the actual writing is 漢字 and 漢字 is exactly meant to be chinese (the Han writing). I think the Japanese will not deny this is a heritage from China.

FYI Japanese are same race as Chinese, are you insinuating that we're racist against our self ...too funny:rofl:

they look similar, but there is a fast ocean inbetween. Chinese bahavior leaves a big room for improvement, while Japanese are polite and treat other with respect.

we are off topic. topic is how we can further deepen relationship between the two great nations Vietnam and Japan.

And tell us how much respect you Viet had earned in South East Asia? I guess Vietnamese indeed need to improve on the way they behaved and I careless on how you guys cozied each other with Japanese but you need to have some sense of realism by using a Vietnamese and not Chinese picture with Hanzi...LMAO.

Are you saying the banner posted earlier composes of both Japanese and Chinese languages? Don't understand why you are making a pointless rebuttal. It doesn't matter about the origin of the characters. Their combination and specific stroke patterns is that of Japanese, not Chinese.

What a double pimple troll, if the origin of the characters doesn't matter so can we say about Japanese IP and copyright? if we change a tiny bit of what Japanese's origin creation mean they are no longer Japanese..is that you're trying to say?. We don't mind to share our art, culture and writing to Japanese for millennium and we're not asking any royalty of what Japanese had copied from us, but saying Chinese character as ABC's found in various western language is like saying Japanese are uneducated people.

Exactly, I never say those words are not japanese and this is well-known fact that the Japanese is using a lots of chinese characters in their language. But his claim about "All that Kanji is like the abc's found in the various European languages." is BS, that's why I quoted him even the Japanese admit that the kanji is chinese. Not to mention, I don't see how kanji can relate to abc's. Can anyone, who know English only, understand other european languages just because there have abc's in their vocabulary? I don't know but I have my doubt. However, we Chinese can perfectly understand the kanji and its meaning without knowing any japanese language.

Mind you, when China became backwards rather than staying advance, it was Japan that was first to use the Chinese characters for new things that comes with modernation.

Should also be pointed out that for phonetics, Japanese still has hiragana and katakana where as PRC uses roman letters for pinyin.

It was also PRC that decided to move away from the traditional characters and evolved its language to more simple Chinese characters.

Yes, of course the Japanese understand the origin of Kanji. But the story isn't so simple.

So yes, it is just like how the roman letters have also been used and evolved along with the languages that use them such as German, French, English, etc. Also like how there is a family of languages that use the cyrillic script.

There is nothing wrong with it until someone like you uses langauge as a means to claim some sort of identity ownership. That is the only reason why it has gone hot here.

Most of central European languages have Latin/Roman roots. Spanish and Italian words are interchangeable so Portuguese. In some sense in French as well. As you mentioned English speaker, there is many similarities between English and German words, for example

alibi alibi
aquarium aquarium
bank bank
water wasser
lamp lampe
wall wand

There is great difference in grammar between the languages though.

Thanks for the clarification, I only got upset when he undermined the Chinese as kanji since he can just say Chinese characters is part of the Japanese language. But your post shows that he may not be wrong at all.

Viet, you accused me of being a liar when the banner from the pic I stated does not have Vietnamese. And clearly there is no Vietnamese on the banner.
You need to apologise and move on and stop bugging the mods for being wrong.

This thread is one of many examples of trolling by one particular poster, and yourself. You said "Japanese and Chinese" in the banner. There is no Chinese. Admit it. You were trolling. That is why I call you a troll, as well as the other poster. There is a basis for it. If you both did not troll, than I wouldn't call you both trolls.

Now with that said, do you have a basis for calling me a pedophile? Where is that indicated? Link to one of my post where I give off an indication that I might be one.

But of course there isn't such an example. So you can't link. So then all you are doing is smearing my name. In an indirect way, its an admission to losing. So as a sore loser, a smear attack. Which again, is an example of a troll behavior. You just doubled down on being a troll.
