QUETTA: Four militants were killed and seven suspects arrested in an operation carried out by security forces in Panjgur district on Saturday, according to a spokesman for the Frontier Corps.
During the operation against militants believed to be involved in bomb blasts and other subversive activities, FC troops raided their hideout in Washbu area. Militants opened fire at the troops who retaliated.
Four militants were killed in the shootout and a huge cache of illegal arms and ammunition, including rockets, rockets launchers, AK-47 rifles and grenades, were seized, he said. Seven suspects were arrested and handed over to the authorities concerned, he added.
