Speaking to CNN anchor Jake Tapper, however, Bolton suggested Trump was not competent enough to pull off a "carefully planned coup d'etat," later adding: "As somebody who has helped plan coups d'etat - not here but you know (in) other places - it takes a lot of work. And that's not what he (Trump) did."

Tapper asked Bolton which attempts he was referring to.

"I'm not going to get into the specifics," Bolton said, before mentioning Venezuela. "It turned out not to be successful. Not that we had all that much to do with it but I saw what it took for an opposition to try and overturn an illegally elected president and they failed," he said.

In 2019, Bolton as national security adviser publicly supported Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido's call for the military to back his effort to oust socialist President Nicolas Maduro, arguing that Maduro's re-election was illegitimate. Ultimately Maduro remained in power.
"I feel like there's other stuff you're not telling me (beyond Venezuela)," the CNN anchor said, prompting a reply from Bolton: "I'm sure there is."

Unless Mr Boulton is prepared to sign a affidavit duly signed by a registered notary public or such equivalent within US jurisdiction all such mattes are merely gossip for the rumour mill. I want PROOF?

In Venezuela there was concrete evidence of suspicious activity which was uncovered by Venezuelan authorities, US officials weren't saying 'we're going to coup you on this date'. Hell even Bolton who you are quoting is being cryptic. So yeah there is still no proof of a 'foreign' sponsored coup against Imran Khan at this moment of time.

It is matter of record that state department has clarified many times over, The US doies not engage in any regime change or intervene in the interbal affairs of any other country.

There is caveat - unless asked to do so in which there is various options from US Marines being sent in to soft power via $$$ being used.

But US government does not as matter of policy intefer in other countries.

Dont be class A tard. When people want to uncover something they will find trace evidence that requires electron microscopes. On the other hand when people don't want to uncover something, even if that thing is size of Mt Everest they won't see it.

Venezulua now is a deeply entrenched anti US state. They will have hunted out for any traces of US involvement. In Pakistan's case the establishment, the entire political spectrum in power are beholden to USA and will NOT, nay in fact they will work ovettime to hide any evidemce. Since right now the entire system is in their hands there will and is complete denial.

Even PTI will or should be guarded about revealing who is who in this regime change because the entire system is compromised. You don't want to create a situation where PTI never gets a chance at power for 100 years.

We all know Bajwa was the Mir Sadiq and the rest were just pawns. US trojan horse in PK was non other than Bajwa. This can be seen on how when IK government was desperately trying to steer a middle ground in the Ukraine situation but Bajwa openly supported Ukraine at the security dialogue in Islamabad.

If UK COAS went to a public meeting and openly supporeted Russia thus going against the position adopted by Boris government trust me that hief would have his testicles castrated and fed to the Queens dogs - even if the chief was dangling in gold, silver, bronze medals on his chest.
