HYDERABAD: Former president Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf (PTI) Hyderabad Asghar Rajput along with 12 other former and present office bearers of the party announced their joining of Muttahida Qaumi Movement.
Asghar Rajput made the announcement while addressing a news conference here at Hyderabad Press Club on Saturday along with Manzoor Ahmed Khan newly elected district senior vice president, Rizwana Shah, Ashfaq Qambrani, Ashraf Engineer, vice presidents, Lala Imtiaz joint secretary, Ayaz Sipiyo former information secretary Hyderabad region, Muhammad Hussain Ghazi former district information secretary Hyderabad, Muhammad Touqir Qureshi newly elected city president Hyderabad, Mairaj Warsi senior vice president, Umair Shaikh information secretary, Imran Shaikh vice president and Yousuf Rajput former Union Council Member.
The Zonal Incharge MQM Hyderabad Muhammad Sharif, Information Secretary Iftikhar Kaimkhani and Ex-MPA Suhail Khan were also present on the occasion.
While expressing disappointment in the affairs of Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf at district, provincial and central level, Asghar Rajput said that they joined MQM while observing it as a party of well disciplined people which is united under the leadership of Altaf Hussain.
The Zonal Incharge MQM Hyderabad Muhammad Sharif welcomed the joining of present and former office bearers of Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf in MQM and vowed that 671 candidates, which were nominated by party chief Altaf Hussain all over the country would gain success with a thumping majority as MQM is the only party which proved to be a true representative of the oppressed class people of the country.
