May Allah grant him the highest rank in Jannah. Ameen

A self made man who worked day and night with sheer integrity and uprightness to achieve greatness. Worked on a shoestring budget to change the face of the city rather than crying everyday about lack of iktiyaarat like the present incumbents.

Waseem Akhtar doesn't exaggerate when he complains about having no power and funds. Both khan and Kamal had admin and financial autonomy and look what they delivered in a mere time span of 7 years, it's awesome.

Khan + Kamal > post 71's entire bureaucracy

While I agree that Khan and Kamal had alot more autonomy and financial banking, but all Waseem Akhtar has done is complain about lack of powers yet still holding onto office and perks and privileges while doing nothing on ground.

If he was so serious about lack of powers, did he approach SHC or SC? Did he protest in front of chief ministers office? Did he threaten to resign? A big fat NO.

That I agree with. If I was in his shoes would have created an epic scene every day. But I do have high hopes with our current chief justice. Hes a no nonsense guy and means business like his predecessor justice khosa

I will hold late Naimatullah Khan in higher regard as compare to Kamal. Khan was honest and no corruption at all... be it financial or character wise. Kamal then appeased the Lord Altaf more and not to forget that city wardens fiasco which was nothing more than appeasing Sathis similar to what PPPP been doing for Jialas.
