LANDI KOTAL: The security forces have killed 32 more terrorists in a ground operation being carried out in troubled Khyber Agency bordering Afghanistan, Samaa reported.
According to ISPR, the militants were killed in Tirah Valley of the tribal agency while they were fleeing to Afghanistan. The military said three security personnel were injured in the action.
On Thursday, the killed 27 suspected militants in air strikes and a ground operation in parts of Khyber Agency and Bajaur hours after a roadside bomb killed three soldiers.
The government and military have reaffirmed their determination to defeat the Taliban following Tuesday’s school massacre of 141 people in Peshawar.
Taliban fighters have taken refuge in the lawless tribal belt where the army has been conducting “Operation Zarb-e-Azb” and “Operation Khyber-I” offensives. - Samaa
