There are many things to criticize. And Metro is one of the least Candidate, show personal grudge nothing else, nothing less..

Opposition of any such project is mostly political.. All is good if my leader start any such project ans then all praise/clapping for him but if anyone else start it then its all about harm khori and commission which people see in it

That's prevalent in every part of Pakistan.....in fact, all of South Asia. But some regions seem to have grown in spite of it.

I remember reading that Sindh gets far less percentage of funds than it generates for the National exchequer. Also, Lahore is never in the news for the kind of security situations that Karachi regularly gets the limelight. Hence, I thought a combination of these two factors could be the likely reason.

before you think I am a PMLN supporter ... I hate them (& PPP too & now even PTI ) .. Our city is unfortunately dominated by us Biharis.

And our culture does not allow progress. We are too jazbati. Our priority is to create instability instead of progress.

you know our own saying "jo katay na Aari say, wo katay Bihari say".

Just like what happens in Lallu and Rabri's bihar, the same thing happens in Altaf money launderer's Karachi.

It is cultural thing.

other excuses like corruption etc. are not valid.


Lahore probably has similar corruption level, but their leadership is focused on development too.

But we are now exporting lot of middle class Biharis over there (including my own family members).

So Lahore will be made like Karachi soon by Imran and Qadrri.

but if for some reason they fail in their noble task,

we'll establish MQM there and then every thing will be same same as Karachi.
