My answer is unlikely to please you .......but the problem is scholar of Hindu scriptures and people who study it in great detail and debate it are called Brahmins and they are the one who can answer your question. I have no doubt that like most 'secular' Indians you have been socially programmed to 'hate' brahmins and it is unlikely that you would ever consider going to them to understand Hinduism ......so the only solution you have is to study all the hindu scriptures yourselves.
You might seek a 'Guru' but again truly 'secular' Hindus do not do that .....do they ?
what????There is nothing ashamed to be asssociated with one Ideology or Hindutva in this case. I am a proud Hindu, but the problems arise, when some people try to brainwash others.
Secondly there is no uniformity of religion in Santana Darma, which is proving to be a major problem. People like TN, have different list of "Important" temples and practises whereas people in the north have different.
Moreover, there was never a Hindutva law of any kind in any book. There was different laws for different people based on their occupation and status. For Eg, Kshatriyas had their own laws, Brahmans had their laws, Ancient Doctors had their own laws.
Which one are we to follow, if there is to a Hindutva tumo? Either Hindu religious leaders from all over the country have to sit, discuss and find a solution, but they are not doinf that.
Now, Now where in my post have I said anything about Brahmins? can u point out?
And its u, implying the superiorty of Brahmins here as they alone know the script or Vedas. But the debate was not on them.
And ur reply is not even 1pc, related to my answer or post.

Sooner or Later Hindutva will be Last Resort for every Secular Hindus... Hope they don't realize it too late...
what????
you want people like nirmal baba, asaram daku and shri shri ravishankar to sit together????
Or people of India can choose to become Muslims.
Indian tradition seeks a Guru to explain better what you already may or may not believe. Dr. Swamy is talking about a book by Rajiv Malhotra in this speech. Let me present to you the same Rajiv Malhotra so that 'secular' Hindus can make up their own mind....
This is what you said "Kshatriyas had their own laws, Brahmans had their laws, Ancient Doctors had their own laws.".....I was merely trying to correct your ignorance. I did warn you that my answer will not please you.
au contraire it is you who is implying that knowing Hindu scriptures make them your superior. I only acknowledge their superiority in knowing the hindu scriptures better than me.
You need to re-examine your own demons......
To answer to your points ...
1. I am not aware of any Hindu brainwashing program.
2. There are enough treatise on hindu laws and belief.
3. You need to consult with a dharmic guru of your choice to help you determine what to beliefs and what to follow.

Sorry. We will better be what we are.
