For overseas Pakistanis question

So loyal, why dont stick with Pakistan nationality? LOL.

Some are born there. Some are refugees of WoT and some are refugees of Water crisis.

You are failing to provoke any of them here.

.
you cant take Pakistan out of the people. They take their Pakistan with them wherever they go.
I am 100 percent sure majority will fight against Pakistan more bravely than native soldiers to prove their loyalty

.
I am British citizen [born/bred] and would fight for Britain against every country on earth excluding two.

  • Pakistan
  • Turkey

I am actually too old at 57 and at any rate I could use conscientious objection as a means to avoid draft under British law but I guess your question is trying to draw at something deeper. So for the sake of answering your question I would accept losing my citizenship in case I was asked to fight Pakistan [being my land of heritage] and have relatives in Pak military. I could never fight them. It's question of blood. As regards Turkey I could never fight them although I have no Turkish heritage but my emotional investment in that great country is such I could possibly not fight them either. Thus I would be ready to surrender my citizenship.

Rest. Few like China, Iran, Afghanistan I might have some regret. Others no worries. Although if it was India, Bangla, Saudia, UAE [in order] I would take particular pleasure in pulling the trigger.

I think most overseas Pakistanis here would have the same feeling. Having said that it probably doesnt concern us Swedish Pakistanis that much given Swedens 200 year long rule of neutrality. Scandinavians have come to the conclusion that fighting wars is a futile excercise. Only the Finns have a real martial culture in the north thanks largely to the long shared border with Russia. In a hypothetical scenario however yes only Pakistan, Turkey (and by default Azerbaijan) would be on the list of countries i could not possibly go against.

.
For example you are a UK/US/whatever citizenship with Pakistan heritage. You are draft into military and ask to fight Pakistan in a outbreak of conflict between UK/US/whatever vs Pakistan. Refusal of draft will be striped of citizenship and ask you go back Pakistan.

Which will you choose?

@Rusty @Itachi

Refusal and return.

The question is hypothetical because I can't see UK going to war against Pakistan. Interesting that you included Turkey like me. Although I did not include Azerbaijan but I think that is natural consequence and same would apply to North Cyprus.

.
I would fight against any nation that invades the UK only if the existing armed forces were overrun and needed help.

But I wouldn't ever take up arms against Pakistan. That would be just madness. Its my motherland and firing a bullet in the direction of a Pakistani soldier (my brother) is unimaginable. I'd rather just shoot myself.

.
You are not Pakistanis and a Canadian. I see why you are so interested in messing up Sino-Pakistan r/s. Your words has no value on China. :enjoy:

I didnt break any Chinese law and in fact, PRC will be proud of me and my patriot action. Canada government will be proud of you but not Pakistan. Pakistan will think you are nothing. :enjoy:

Yes, they are....

PLA soldier will not hesitate to shot this American Chinese soldier if seen one during the war.

If you say so.

Luckily both my countries are democracies so I'm allowed to have my own opinion.

I understand why it's hard for you to understand that.

I'm pro China to the point where it helps Pakistan, but I don't believe in one man rule like in China so I do not want that influence in Canada.

I hope you understand what I'm saying.

Really? You change your tone so fast? Many so called anti-China Pakistanis are overseas based. Do you really think what they do really put Pakistan interest first? If Pakistan collapse or died. Its wouldnt hurt them cos they stay overseas in Canada, US or UK.

Real Pakistanis citizen who reside in Pakistan needs to beware.

What tone?

I have always been a democrat and I will always support democracies.
However Pakistan is in a special relationship with China, one that I support as it is in Pakistan's interest.
I just don't support the propoganda from China.

What I still can't understand is why you are here
It is illegal to go to PDF from China.

Are you not a Chinese patriot?
How can you be a Chinese patriot and then break the law and come to PDF?

How would dear leader Xi feel if he found out you are breaking his personal laws?

Policies are not made at PDF here Indians can make accounts with Pakistani flags
And this forum doesn't represent Pakistanis

Why are you so sure?

There are many reasons why i would imagine dual nationals or Pakistan Origin people may come to Pakistan or refuse to take part in Aggression against Pakistan.

Please elaborate

There will be some exceptions but majority will choose the side which is more beneficial to them
Someone has posted here that due to tribal or family attachments Pakistanis will always side with Pakistan but if despite all these attachments they can go and live thousands of miles away from their native areas for monetary gains then they can also fight against the people of their ancestral land

Well there are old ancient tribal Codes which people have to adhere to otherwise the people take away their land and punish them for it.

There are people who would put blood over Country and Religion.

Ancient Rituals nothing else

There aren't any codes it all depends on where your most of the close relatives are living and where you have property etc and lot of other factors
