How did this happen? I hope that this weapon is only one what has ended up on black market but most likely it's not. Well, i'm not going to fly anywhere near middle-east any time soon.

Unusually it appears the nearest country to Syria that uses this weapon is Sudan, with Malaysia, Cambodia, Peru, and Pakistan being other users. Not only is this the first foreign MANPADS recording in the conflict, but it really seems to have no business being anywhere near Syria, leaving some big questions with regards to it's source.

It's part of our daily life to see FSA capturing air defense sites, airbases, cities..etc and seizing allot of arms. They are doing very well.

But it maybe is a part of Syrian armys weapons

I hope not! There is no any official sales of these MANPAD's to Syria, we don't know how many China supplied and now there could be hundreds (worst case scenario) of these things circulating middle-east. Hopefully it was just few smuggled through black market.

FSA captured a lot of Syrian Army equipment, this is bound to be one of them.

If that FN-6 is from Syrian army base, then we can be sure that was not only one, and i'm quite sure this causes grey hairs in many intelligence organisation.
