LAHORE: Five minor blasts have been reported in a thickly populated area near Badshahi mosque here, Geo News reported Friday.

Rescue 1122 service has reached the site of the blasts.

Difa-e-Nazria-e-Pakistan has claimed responsibility of the blasts by sending an SMS to media reporters 5 minutes before the blasts.

5 blasts heard in Lahore

LAHORE: At least five blasts have been heard near Tibbi police station of the city, according to police.

Before the blasts media persons had been informed on SMS about the blasts, says journalists.

The place where blasts were heard is a densely populated area, and Tibbi police station is close to Badshahi mosque and royal fort.

Security teams rushed to the crime scene.

These blasts were of crackers therefore their had minor intensity. said our reporter

Due to low intensity of the blasts, loss of human lives did not take place but window panes of adjacent buildings were smashed.

The purpose of the blast is to create terror and fear in the city, said the analyst.

After the blast security has been put on high alert.

oh please don't start your famous conspiracy theories again. if "friendly neighbor" was the reason then the blast will be of high intensity and on regular basis there are elements in Pakistan who will happily do it, we have money, we have explosives and what not.

But we don't use these things, if a innocent human dies due to terrorism then its a slap on the face of our so called civil world.
