Five labourers killed, three injured in Gwadar

Five labourers were killed and three others were injured after unknown armed men opened fire in Ganz area of Jewani in district Gwadar on Wednesday, security sources said.

The security forces informed that unidentified armed men attacked labourers of a private company, who were engaged in a development project.

Five labourers, including two hailing from Karachi, were killed in the firing while three others were injured. The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital in Gwadar for medico-legal formalities.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered against unknown assailants and an investigation was underway.

Five shot dead by suspected ULFA(I) militants in Assam
The incident happened at around 8 p.m. when five suspected ULFA(I) cadre came to Kherbari village on a motorbike and dragged five people out of their houses and shot them.
