Command-range aviation of Russia issued the military-industrial complex tactical and technical requirements for the development of promising aviation complex long-range aircraft (PAK DA). On this, as reports "Interfax", said the commander of the Russian Federation YES Maj. Gen. Anatoly Zhikharev. According to him, the first prototype aircraft will be ready by 2020 and in 2025 a new long-range bomber entered service in Russia.
"We would like to see this aircraft with a brand new sighting and navigation system, communications, reconnaissance, electronic warfare systems. He must use all the weapons that now exist and which will in the future armed with long-range aviation," - said Zhikharev. He also noted that the new aircraft would be created with the use of stealth technology. As expected, in 2012, DIC shall submit for approval preliminary design perspective plane.
Earlier it was reported that the first prototype of the PAK DA will be created no earlier than 2025, the duration of its development program was estimated at 15-20 years. February 24, 2011, Vladimir Popovkin, the then First Deputy Defence Minister, announced that funds for the establishment of the new aircraft incorporated in the state program arms of Russia for 2011-2020, funding for which was set at 23 billion rubles.
It is known that the establishment of long-term bomber involved in the company "Tupolev", which received a contract to conduct research and development activities in August 2009. Contract duration is three years. We also know that PAK DA is deep modernization of long-range bombers Tu-160. In the future aviation complex will replace the long-range aviation in the all Tu-95MS and Tu-160
