I ve seen videos of Harriers refuelling from other Harriers but this is new

But it's definitely not a usual sight, once because IAF won't share their few tankers so generous with IN, but more importantly because IN don't use the carrier that often because of technical issues. However, it is part of the training and maybe we see the Harriers buddy refuelling from Mig 29Ks someday.

Its interesting to not the Harriers had A2A refueling capabilities even before we thought of having a Tanker.

IAF plans for procuring an AAR had been around for a while-orders were only placed recently though. A paucity of funds delayed such dreams for years.
