An AirPod assembler has notified suppliers that it intends to move production from China to Vietnam.

TAIPEI -- China's GoerTek has become the first of Apple's leading equipment suppliers to confirm plans to shift production out of the country to avoid being caught up in the escalating trade war between Washington and Beijing.

Lol, very funny. Iran never be our ally. NK was but not our ally now. We can make friends but we donot need any allies. But we indeed have several important friends in Asia: NK, PK, Cambodia, Russia. These countries may get military support from us if necessary.
The reason is easy, ally may help you and may hurt you. It is hard to say which one is better. Moreover, the big country do not need to ally with anyone, only the weak country need to ally with big country.
