I have heard one sqd of Mig-29 is upgraded.
51 Mirage 2000 + 65 Mig-29 + 68 Jaguar will be upgraded by 2021-2022. (Yet to order Jaguar engines)

I have heard one sqd of Mig-29 is upgraded.
51 Mirage 2000 + 65 Mig-29 + 68 Jaguar will be upgraded by 2021-2022. (Yet to order Jaguar engines)

Only 48 Mirage 2000s are left. Few were broken down for spares because our beaurocracy meant we cannot even order spare a for them .

And as far as I know all 69 Fulcrums are alright , so likely all will be upgraded.

Qatar had 12 Mirage 2000s , a decade younger than ours by built date , and a decade more if we see how the Arabs use their aircrafts , all 12 will be replaced by new aircrafts. We should get all the 12.

The upgrade on the aircraft include a night vision goggle-compatible glass cockpit, advanced navigational systems, advanced Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) system, advanced multi-mode multi-layered radar, fully integrated electronic warfare suite besides others. It also includes a new firing system for Air-to-Air MICA missiles.The upgraded Mirage 2000 fighter aircraft will be installed with India-made multi-function displays under an Indo-French partnership.

The new capabilities include longer-range detection and weapon firing against multiple targets and an extended operating envelope that will allow a border-protection mission. The multitrack RDY-3 radar equipment on the Indian Mirage is the same generation the French air force uses on the Mirage 2000D, with range increased to 50 nm from the existing RDM radar's 40 nm.

India is ordering 164 Litening 2 targeting pods from Israel's Rafael for the upgraded Mirages, as well as for Su-30 MKIs. The nation has also cleared a proposal to buy more than 400 MICA short- and medium-range air defense missiles. These will replace the Magic II short-range infrared missiles and Super 350 MRAAM on the Mirages.

This article has not mentioned the EW suite that has been installed in The
upgraded Mirage 2000

That is what is called ICMS MK 4

Integrated Counter measure system MK 4

Also there is an element of Rafale installed in the Upgraded Mirages

That is called MDPU -- Modular data processing Unit which has been taken from Rafale

It is what is also called Sensor Fusion
