Fact that even bengaldesh is ahead of us now when they were living in slums is funny to you??
Ofcourse i doSo u just visiting on a trip have more idea about the ground situation than us living here ? The point is now its not feasible to blame old crooks, PTI should have done much more. Tell me which big corrupt has bene caught and persecuted properly?? Have the govt spending reduced? Have the luxury of ministers reduced?? Have luxury of bureaucrats reduced?? The only screw tightened is not middle class and salaried ppl. If u ppl think it's such a good govt rhen come back with ur stashed wealth n live here. A few of tried and were then crying n ran away lolz. Its easier to talk from abroad.
PM Imran Khan mentioned this specifically in his Question Answer session with the public80% people without gas are subsidizing 20% gas users
30% without power are subsidizing 70% powee users
Go to rural KPK interior sindh or south punjab you will see what i mean

Wrong..He makes these decisions like the majority of people of people in this country when they go to the local shop. People generally have no concept of exports imports industries cad gdp etc.
They just jump on seeing fancy power projects advertisements which they can not afford. Thinking country is progressing.
Their ignorance is the main reason why Bangladesh and India are ahead of us.
In 10 yrs even afghanistan will be aheadHe makes these decisions like the majority of people of people in this country when they go to the local shop. People generally have no concept of exports imports industries cad gdp etc.

Finance minister Hammad Azhar expects 4 percent sustainable gdp growth

Wrong..
They know it but they like it this way
Its khata hey tu lagata hey concept
Central punjab is rolling in money while south is crushed..
Middle class and specially salaried class, politicans, businessmen and beaucrats are rolling in money while poor farmer class/laborers are being crashed..
Today food, oil and gas is much cheaper in pakistan then india (at expensive of farmer class)
Electricity is on par as compared to india(but exepensive for industries & commerace)
In 10 yrs even afghanistan will be ahead
In 1980s korea was poorer then us, 1990s vietnam was poorer and 2000s even bengladesh was poorer
They went for job creation and productivity..we went for note printing and generalized subsidies
Imagine if 6 trillion rupees subsidies in last 5years spent on development and investment where would we been at
1991 at that time our per capita exports were three times that of india.Exactly bro you hit the nail in the head.
Artificial means of inflating gdp by increasing consumption (subsidized dollar and fiscal injection) does not increase wealth creation. People in India can afford these commodities at those rates because of stable sustainable and organic growth over a decade. When was the last time India went to IMF due to BOP crisis, when was the last time India artificially manipulated their currency, when was the last time India spent so much on just subsidies, when was the last time Indian central bank was printing to finance political government spending (except in corona crisis)?
Some people still argue that there are no long term consequences of economic mismanagement.
Ofcourse i do
Since my family doesnt has gas, electricity forget about internet..
None of my near or distant memebers are on intenet
Anyone on interent is usually the educated class now worried about their imported cheese
Yes imran khan is culprit beyind luxury spending
The culprit is the middle class still resisiting any form of accountibility against anyone
70% of votes(PMLN PPPP) think NAB going for polticans and beuacrats who have unaccounted earning as "injustice'
So unless atleast 80% people support actiond against unaccounted wealth(even if they want to vote for another party) then they deserve what they get
You said your self people would rather vote back for corrupt money launderers..so why cry now? This is something i never get from crying salary and middle class..
People related to agriculture and privately swlf employed people POOR UNEDUCATED people are reason country is surviving as they have some sense of whats going on?
By the way people were much happy with wheat hitting 1800 expect a bumper crop ..PMLN did **** people with prices doubling where as wheat staying at same price for 5 yrs
But ofcourse thr middle class salaried people will cry as they wont be able to get imported cheese or their other imports spending..which sure will draw some uneven consumption based growth
1991 at that time our per capita exports were three times that of india.
But then new generation of lazy middle class led by nawaz sharif was borne and we went every 3 years a total of 9 times to IMF.
Last time India went to IMF was 1990. Pakistan kept going to IMF ever since we got Mian Saanp and his money printing / artifical dollar valuationWhen was the last time India went to IMF due to BOP crisis
On what merits have you reached the conclusion that after 2 1/2 economic woes can not be blamed on past government?
Our country is still suffering from a lot of decisions of late bhutto.
It is natural to direct your anger at the person one dislikes or who is standing right in front of them irrespective of facts.
Do you know what actually happened, past government was a molester, they did everything by offering you a candy, you were happy they were happy, when the candy finished you realized what happened by that time the molester ran away and there was someone else standing beside you. You hold the person right now standing next to you responsible.
Ignorance of the people is responsible for their state of misery. My point is economy is not a few years gamble. The bets you make has consequences for a long time.
In short this government was staring at 25-30% overall compound inflation the moment they set foot in office over the years. ( Rupee depreciation, electricity deals resulting in tariff rationalization, gas sector deficit due to its tariff not been received for the past 5 years ).
Yes the government expenses has reduced, they released the report of comparison of total expenditure. Bureaucracy I have no stats.
If the judiciary does not want to punish the culprits, there is little NAB or government can do. If you want to judge by yourself, Shahbaz Sharif case is well investigated and prosecution is doing a decent job as well. Let's see what the outcome is. Let's see who is protecting him.
