Your relations are in Hyderabad, India?

It started operating with limited flights, but its actual inauguration is in March.

Looks better than many airports in Europe and the USA!

Now that India has shown that it can have world class infrastructure, the quest for excellence (and not all round mediocrity that we see all around) should get all-prevalent. India can change beyond recognition in just a decade (It is already unrecognizable in parts).

.
Looks nice and sleek, but rather small. Is it only a single building airport? Although this is the standard size for airports in South Asia, if I compare it with airports in the US that I've seen such as Dulles, or Baltimore or Philadelphia, it looks small.

.
I guess, the size would be in keeping with the expected traffic over the next decade. Hyderabad is not expected to be a hub or something. So this may be enough for the requirements.

Just my 2 cents.

Hyderabad, India?

India should work on Mumbai airport finally. I heard its really below standards.

Anyone got pictures of that? I saw a few pictures it seemed fine, not so bad.

.
I keep going to Mumbai airport. It is not so bad. Just not upto the standards that are expected in the commercial capital of India.

And it suffers from capacity problems, so things sometimes get chaotic during peak hours: Aircrafts circling in the air or waiting at the tarmac, longer time in security queues, time to get the boarding pass etc.

But you may run into many of the same issues even in the West.

.
And yes, the Mumbai airport is being rennovated by a private party. Its going to be one of the best around when it is complete.

Its just the first phase of four. Dunno bout size man, I don't usually notice how big an airport is.

.
How many international airports now India has, including operational and under construction?
