FIFA is going to ban Pakistan

On Saturday PTI MNA backed Ashfaq Hussain group invaded Pakistan Football Federation Office & dtained FIFA appointed normalization committee. FIFA today issued statement that if by Wednesday 8pm PFF matters and offices not handed over to normalisation committee then they will ban Pakistan.

The other side of the story.

Apparently the 'Normalization Committee' took charge in September 2019 and was supposed to hold elections but absolutely nothing seems to have been done, with FIFA unresponsive as well.

The fact that the man running the normalization committee said he would provide a 'road map' to elections ONLY when the Ashfaq Hussain group barged into the offices shows that pretty much nothing has been done. What level of incompetency is this that the FIFA appointed normalization committee does not even have a roadmap for elections 18 months later?

Faisal Saleh Hayat has strong connections with FIFA and I wouldn't be surprised that the Normalization Committee membership was stuffed by FIFA with people loyal to him. FSH has done absolutely NOTHING for Pakistan football and he's been protected by FIFA this entire time.

“I told him that we had given NC the charge in good faith in September 2019 with the hope that it would hold the PFF elections in a fair and transparent way within the FIFA mandate. But it did not do anything in the past 18 months.”

“We had 20 people with us and had our intention been to harass him then he could not have left but we did not want anything so unpleasant. I have written 14 letters to FIFA during the last few months but the world body did not even reply.”
