Feminism might have made sense when Western society really was oppressing women maybe. But to take that and impose it forcefully on rest of society and try to export it to countries with more robust family systems might not be ideal or sane.

He does provide valid evidence to backup his argument, albeit in a crude and offensive manner.

feminism is and was a good thing despite all its flaws

There are definitely good aspects of it, but in the West it's getting a lot of well-deserved scepticism and backlash. One thing Pakistan for example would benefit massively from is higher female literacy. It would help us in a lot of ways that are hard to sum and fathom. But I'd rather not see them import a lot the claptrap feminism and double standards being peddled by some in the developed world.

Feminism is ok as long as it does not involve treating men like shit or 'guilty till proven innocent' by default.

Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Some feminists in the West have gone loco but we in South Asia have a long way to go in women's rights. It's easy to label all Western feminism as agenda driven and to resist good reforms in the name of 'traditional family values', but we need to prioritize the well being and rights of our women.

Traditional family values have been hijacked by men over the centuries.

Then I'm afraid the baby and the bathwater both need to be indigenous Pakistani made at home.

Not forcefully exported to Pakistan by USAid or some NGO aunty with Diana haircut. Nor the freakshow that is Aurat March.
