A female model allegedly committed suicide at her rented flat in Rupnagar area of Dhaka this morning.

Police recovered the body of Sabira Hossain, 21, from her rented apartment, Syed Shahid Alam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Rupnagar Police Station, told The Daily Star.

Police detained Sabira’s alleged boyfriend Nirjhar Sinha Rounaq in this connection.

Nirjhar confessed that he had love affair with Sabira and she has been putting pressure on him to marry her, the OC added.

Police suspected that she might have committed suicide over her frustration in love affair, the OC said.

Sabira has been living in a sublet room of a flat located on Road No. 12 in the area.

On information, police recovered the body around 7:00am and sent it to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy.

Sabira wrote a post on Facebook around 4:30am today before committing “suicide”. Mentioning Rounaq's name in the post, she wrote: "if i die he wil be responsible for my death."

RIP. She was cute.. :(.

. . . . . . .
Not a loss to humanity by demise of some drug addicts.

.
May Allah forgive her for this sins.

Just an example of typical problem with teenage/young Bangladeshi models. Just like their beauties, they need to use their heads as well.

. . . . . .
Another one! Hopefully she's all right....

A television broadcaster has gone missing from Dhaka's Tejgaon area, family said.

Her last known movement was in Gulshan police station where she filed a diary against her husband.

The missing is Sabina Nipa, a news broadcaster of privately owned Maasranga Television.

A resident of Niketon, she filed a diary against her husband at Gulshan Police Station last night, said Abdur Rashid, officer-in-charge of Tejgaon Industrial Police Station.

"Around 9:30pm last night, she called one of her friends and said her location was near Gulshan Aarong area," he said. "Since then, her phone couldn't be reached."

Her husband filed a missing diary with the police station.

I suspect the husband got jealous because she decided to 'trade-up' to a better match in her new-found fame. Sad.
