Lets not forget that we in India also have plenty of poor people, who are fed by the Govt.

Lets sympathise with those poor people and not make a joke on them.

Sad that even Pakistani police officers are dependent on these free food centers.

It means our police officers are Honest ..they depend on free food not other's food:victory:

But in India same situation . Don't make Joke , Just come together to do some positive steps.

"India Times 27 February 2009-NEW DELHI: India is failing its rural poor with 230 million people being undernourished — the highest for any country in the world. Malnutrition accounts for nearly 50% of child deaths in India as every third adult (aged 15-49 years) is reported to be thin (BMI less than 18.5).
ccording to the latest report on the state of food insecurity in rural India, more than 1.5 million children are at risk of becoming malnourished because of rising global food prices.

The report said that while general inflation declined from a 13-year high exceeding 12% in July 2008 to less than 5% by the end of January 2009, the inflation for food articles doubled from 5% to over 11% during the same period.

:) We still manage to feed the hungry through such charities and its a very positive feature of Pakistani and Muslim Society.

I dont know if India has such kind of arrangments in large numbers for their millions of poors but here in Pakistan, the well off Pakistanis, traders, shopkeepers and common people like me and others arrange such food and not once but it is 24-hours, 7 days a week and almost in every big city of Pakistan.

we all know the condition of police officers in developing countries, this guy in the picture of course he is not IG, he is of some low rank and wants to save money for home rather than spending on his own food, otherwise i would say the condition of police in Pakistan is better than other countries in sub-continent.
this video will provide some insight regarding their equipment and most of all the cars they have some things are still not shown like suvs including Prado and Nissan Patrol.

if this thread was started with an intention to make fun of Pakistanis then i would love to say India has 20% of worlds total population and houses 45% of worlds poverty, where around 900 million people (90 crore) out of 1.25 billion strive to have a single meal a day that also they dont get every day, around 160 million of them earn less than 100Rs a month which is nearly 2 dollars.

Whereas in Pakistan 20% of population which means around 30million are only below the poverty line. An average income of people living in rural societies on outskirts of Karachi who are considered to be AMONG the poorest in the country earn around 2800Rs a month. These were the figures of World bank and IMF, sources are available online.

Why does not India extend a hand of friendship in the form of help? These little gestures can break down walls. Why do a majority of us in this forum try to crucify (and flame) each other?

If India made little gestures of feeding (or even offering to feed) the internally displaced citizens of Pakistan the goodwill would go a long way. Pakistan may not accept, but unless an offer is made everything is a guess.

Even more importantly India can offer certain guarantees to Pakistan on their common borders. Why has it not done so? Just as I criticize the Pakistani members on this forum and their US-Hindoo-Joo nexus, I am hoping an Indian leader will arise who offers a hand of friendship to the GOP.

Hi Nomad,
It is no guessing what will happen. India has actually extended helping hand a few times in the past, and was rudely turned down. The latest at the time of earthquake in northern Pakistan. With the allegations of 'spying while helping', the relations rather head south.

Besides, with already so many poor and hungry people needing help back home, I wonder how would this gesture be looked upon in India.

In the wake of the earthquake in Kashmir in 2005, India had offered to supply corrugated metal sheets for roofs of temporary housing.

The Pakistan Army stipulated that these sheets would be accepted only if the "Made in India" markings were removed.

So the Pakistani elites would accept aid, but their highest priority is to keep the population indoctrinated and enraged.

Also, the same earthquake had damaged the fence on the Line of Control in Kashmir, and this opportunity was exploited to infiltrate a large number of Jihadis.

Indians just can't live without bashing Pakistan, Sometimes i think what have we done to them, Their Channels, Their News papers, Their people, The number of Indians on this forum simply prove how much Obsessed & worked up these people are with Idea & existence of Pak, no matter how lenient you get with them they take it for granted & hit u on every chance they get....
At least we built those affected areas of Earth Quake, Muzarrafabad, Balakot, Rawalakot are all in a better shape than before, World accepted the efficiency of Pakistan in rehabilitating the affected people, Even a delegation was called by Chinese to get know how of Pakistani relief & rehabilitation activity after that Chinese Earthquake, But here Indians ahh, people get over your obsession......
A few metal sheets they think, are gesture of Good will

do have anything or any way to prove this except a ToI rant article

What's the point of this topic? Ok yes we have people hungry and in poverty. It's like saying grass is green. Are you going to make a thread about that? If it's intentionally to show Pakistan in dark light then lets just say the problem is far worse in india.

.
Oh come on, how many Indians and/or Gujaratis here know that in 2001 Gujarat Earthquake, Pakistan gave aid to India as well along with other foreign countries? BBC News | SOUTH ASIA | Earthquake aid pours into India

And in 2005 Kashmir earthquake GoI and many private companies provided aid to Pakistan as well, but how many Pakistanis know about that? BBC NEWS | South Asia | India offers Pakistan $25m in aid

This is a positive thing and instead of downplaying or negating each others help this should have been prominently told to the general public

Nomad nice way to manipulate and shying away from own poverty and millions of hungery Indians. It would be much better that India should extend friendship hand to its own millions of hungry people who go to bed everynight with an empty stomach.

The thread starter had tried his best to show Pakistan in a poor light but ahh alas he failed to see that its a good system which is not pushing our hunger to the level of Indian hunger.
