Fazlur rehman says PDM should resign

. . . .
Not long ago, 2 PMLN MNAs resigned and then backtracked.

I wonder if Fazlu would be stupid enough to resign and lose those seats on re-elections.

PPP won't resign. Zardari wants to use Sindh provinces funds and loot to manipulate the parliament.

PMLN - Nawaz & Maryam want to resign, but Showbaz & Hamza won't. Party is already split and Maryam has very little control. Nawaz will have to return to Pakistan to take control of the party but he's out for good. Nawaz will never use his own money and sponsors have dried up with Hamza controlling the party.

Military doesn't want a major political turmoil with CPEC and all that's happening around us. IK's blackmail of wrapping the system up and taking to streets has worked and as of now the road to accountability has been cleared of 'dheel' hurdles. It is Stable Pakistan with Accountability v Political Instability with Dheel for Opposition. Military seems to have chosen Stable Pakistan with Accountability.

he has no seat he can say it but those whom paid billions in elections will never resign .

Maulana sahib, if you choose to play the horse trading game, you don't get to cry when you lose and the other side wins. Zero credibility for the crying side is left, and no sympathy. That goes for government's tears after Hafeez Sheikh election loss, and PDM tears at chairmanship election loss.

However, this jump to suggesting resignations seems to me to say that Maulana has little faith left in the strength of PDM in parliament. Whereas just a few days ago, they were supremely confident and nobody even mentioned resignations.

So PPP went from taking the lead in parliament while it battled the government, PMLN and Maulana went silent and let PPP do their thing. Now that they have lost, PPP are taking the election to high court, Maulana is suggesting resignations ahead of the long march, most probably the threat is that the march reaches Islamabad, and the PDM goes in one by one and resigns. And while Nawaz is busy attacking the millitary on his end to apply pressure, Imran Khan also blackmails them on the other end to keep them in his camp. These are interesting times. :pop:

It was PMLN who backstabbed PPP in Senate Chairman Elections. A day before at PDM conference, Nawaz and Fazlu openly spoke against PPP's strategy as they were getting nothing from it.

Hazfeez Sheikh loss is an open and shut case in public as loot from Sindh was used to purchase those MNAs. No such thing happened in Senate Chairman election.

well it was zero sum game..

opposition knew they cant win senate if there is open senate as remember 3 seats were grabbed from PTI/GDA during senate election

add that three seats and you will have 51-49 position instead of 48-52(1 dysfunction seat so, 51)
