Explain Light Commando Batallions (LCB)

Basically people lcb is your average infantry unit but better trained (have some training with ssg but not the extreme like you know eating g a alive chicken ) and certain physical standards and those who fail to join ssg (only 2-4% who apply join ) they are then sent for lcb these guys can para have better weapons knee arm guards Kevlar extra and basically think of it as a heavy mobile infantry like you know in games with more damage defense a d speed (just an example )

i urge the 'insiders' to keep a lid on what they share about the LCBs. @ OP, you wont be getting any worthwhile info on the questions that you ask. The bottomline that you should know is that the LCBs fill in the (large) gap between a regular Infantry soldier and a SOF personnel - a gap that now have been reduced considerably due to our prolonged deployment in COIN environment.

There is 1 LCB raised by every Corps.. Count the corps ... You know the strength.. Or the number of overall battalions..
Correction
raised by every regiment not corp
we have 6 regiments
1) The Punjab Regiment
2) The Baloch Regiment

3) The Frontier Force Regiment
4) The Azad Kashmir Regiment
5) The Sindh Regiment
6) The Northern Light Infantry Regiment

so 6 Battalions of LCB
if they were raised by every corp (which is not the case) there would be 11 battalions almost a div size force
